OK, I have put it off long enough..... I did the easy part yesterday, but today I must face the jungle and all its monsters!!
I am referring to my back yard, if you want to call it that. I have to first shield myself with a hat to block out the harsh sun. Then put on safety goggles to keep the shooting stuff from my eyes. I have to make sure I have on heavy shoes, and long pants and top.
I have tried to get others to do it, but I understand their fear...  It is all I can do to get started! Even this blog is putting it off a few more minutes! I wonder  if I will get lucky and like yesterday, the machine won't start....... 
Well,... I am not looking forward to turning green and facing my fear of monsters but a girls got to do what a girls got to do,,,, I guess..... 
Somebody save me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's your last chance!!!!!!!!!!!!! HECK, it's MY last chance!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will await your response and have another cup of coffee to calm my nerves!!!

Problem solved...buy a pony or a goat..and let him have at it...
No sweat...no fumes....no noise....
Its the 'green' way to mow the lawn...

We have the same problem here...me and Mom mow..my brother is allergic to grass or so he says but our neighbor comes and does it on his rider  hes sweet on my Mom

I'm with MF, get a goat, or a pony maybe.
With a pony, you could charge kids to ride....make some cash and mow your lawn at once!
Or you could guzzle some booze and attack your task with fury.
If you opt for the pony..let me know.....I'll come and ride.

lol tackle it! I was going to tackle mine the other day....but when I went for the weed-wacker....it was....stolen! from my front porch even! so now I just watch the weeds grow taller...and wait for the church people across the street wonder when that old-lady will clean up her place...oh my! why don't they come help???Then what would they have to talk about?
