It's funny that some men refuse to let people see their soppy side, their big softee side.. and if they let it show for an unguarded moment, they swiftly deny all claims to what they said or did. With a.. "Oh I was just kidding".. or some other disclaimer!
And for what reason? to be seen as macho.. or cool.. cos a big softee cant be macho or cool now can he?.. well.. not in their eyes anyway.
Caesar, our black Pyrenees mix dog, is Gregg's boy, his pride and joy, and Caesar in return adores him! Follows him everywhere, has to be with Gregg the entire time he's at home.
We got talking the other night about Caesar and I said I noticed the strong bond between them.
"Oh.. he's just a dog." was the reply I got. (Yeah right.)
Then the next day, whilst Gregg was vacuuming the dog pool, and Caesar as usual was within feet of him, I was watching from the window.
Gregg suddenly noticed that Caesars ear was inside out. Not bothering him, just the wrong way.
He put down the vacuum, went over and put his ear the right way, touched heads, gave a rub on his head then carried on vacuuming.
When He came back in I smiled and said..
"Just a dog huh?"
His face let me know that he knew what I was referring to, he smiled and said.. "Yep! just a dog!"
Yeah right.

then Just a dogs times show the sweetness and humaness in men I love them times.. when My Mac is nose to nose with TwoFace its so sweet... like a young boy with his dog his best buddy ... no qualms about showing affection.. its wonderful to be able to see a man act like that .. maybe they ALL need a dog huh??

I am only crying 17 hours a day now.......

You are so right...I think one of the sweetest things i ever saw was when Roxy the momma dog in my profile was nursing her puppies she was so sweet and I have pictures of my nephews friend that he took of her nursing and then being chased around our yard by her pups when she was done but they were not....sweet

Theres nothing more sexy than a strong intellegent man who holds a little baby or helps a child...I dont know, but thats so cool looking to me..
