On here and in every group of people in life, I have found those that are mature, those that aren't and those that will NEVER be.

Maturity is NOT:

~ Out - performing another person, but being gracious when another has out performed YOU

~ Knowledge of what another does not know, but understanding of what that other person can still teach YOU, and being humble.

~ Being more successful or more financially stable than someone else, but realizing that YOU have not walked in their shoes and have NO idea of what caused them to be where they are.

~ Winning or being RIGHT~ but forgiveness and acceptance of not only the other person, but of YOURSELF.


~ Trying to succeed in doing what you want, but instead, wanting to do what's right.

Some people that are completely self centered, will never "mature." Others may over time, but go through a lot more than necessary to do so!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should not be WORK, but WISDOM. Listening, instead of feeling the need to "have to" speak or utter the last "Word."

Just my thoughts on maturity... take them or leave them.
