Some of you have been following Lucky's story in my blogs. Well here is a new chapter. Today I went to a cat rescue near me and found a male kitten for Lucky. No, not for breeding but because she is so intelligent and is an alpha female, she would not get along with another female cat. I got the little male for a playmate to try to get Lucky to quit terrorizing the older cats! Right now, none of the cats like Scooter, the new one. He's very mellow, slightly larger and older than Lucky. He is an orange tabby with white, with gold eyes. A very sweet little guy. So far all the cats, including Lucky, just hiss at Scooter. But when I fed them their canned food tonight on one plate, Lucky and Poohbear ate with Scooter with minimal hissing. So I think things will work out. Lucky thinks Scooter is here to take her place and she's upset because she's the "baby". But she'll soon learn he has a place in the house also. I'm betting by the end of the week end, they'll play together without all the noise (hissing).

I, too have a young whipper snapper (1yr) whose favorite pastime is terrorizing the elders (13 and 14 yrs)... however I believe I have one elder who would just leave home if I brought another cat into the house! Good luck with the diversion... more kitty purrs for you!

Update: Scooter has turned into a very playful kitten. Lucky now wants to play with him but he ignores her! LOL It is so funny to watch.
I wonder why some people try to turn such innocent things into drama and gore?? I have always believed everyone is entitled to their opinions and comments but I just may have to change my mind and reset my blog comments to approval only.

my mom took the deaf kitty into the house to give Two a playmate.. Mr B just stopped playin and Two was getting into too much mischief by himself.. now they both terrorize the entire household..lol
