So, what's keeping you from having that party? And, hey here's an idea...how about inviting people that you don't Usually spend time with, but know each other well enough to invite.
Also, have you ever heard of the saying "Fake it, till you Make it" ?
Go and rent "What the Bleep Do We (k)now" you can find the way to beat depression if you really watch it...
And...I use to save things for "Nice" until I read something that asked...What the Heck are you saving it for, isn't every day of your life a special occasion? Bring out all of the things that you Love...Buy all the foods you Love...Light candles if you Love them. Treat yourself Wonderfully...and Expect Others to treat you the same way.
I could go on, but maybe this is enough to get the ball rolling...Oh, and try some St John's Wort for depression...the only side effect is getting a sunburn easily After using over a Year.

Well, my friend, I will be the first to wish you an early Happy Birthday!! I am glad you are looking forward to your reunion and I am sure it will be great fun!! I sooooo understand the depression. I have fought it off and on during my life. Although there have been many times that I "won" the battle with it, there have been yet other times that I didn't!
I am sorry that you cannot be with family this year, and for the loss of your dear mom. The day seems more empty when we are alone. Chin up though, I feel that things can only get better for you.
I hope that your current friend does follow through for your sake and his own.
Please, get yourself a little cake and go out to dinner at least!! At least be "around" people on your special day!

Hello Darlin
I just looked at your photos and you have gorgeous skin and a sexy smile! I am HOPING I can look 1/2 as good as you when I celebrate my 67th hoedown..I'm with you on the ugly duckling in High school thingy. Me too...I was short and flat chested...I dunno what happened but God certainly blessed the upper half of my body between then and now. OH.. and my legs grew as long as a jumpin cricket...
Last high school reunion I saw all the "CAKES" (popular kids in school) and darn they went from hot to NOT in 30 years.. The captain of our school football team "John" who i had such a torrid crush on...was busy clacking his dentures, cleaning his ears and had a hairdo like Donald Trump..OMG! From Hunk to Chunk. The geeky kids looked good and had aged a whole lot better through the years than the Cakes..I guess its Karma.

Hey!!! Its your Birthday, so call some friends that may be feeling a bit down themselves...and share your birthday with them! Invite them over...or go out someplace, and laugh and have fun! If too short a notice..plan it for next weekend.!
