I just thought I'd post a short update on the kittens. I got Scooter on Thursday. Today is Saturday and they played together most of the morning. Right now they're each crashed in the little cat bed they've claimed as their own. I'm waiting for them to crash together so I can get some pics to post.
Lucky decided yesterday that she wanted to play with Scooter. She went all out to try to get him to notice her but he just kept on ignoring her. She freaked out, playing as hard as she could, racing, jumping, even trying to attack Scooter. He just went his own way. Lucky was very frustrated. Poor thing! She grew up without litter mates so is not really sure how to interact with a kitten her age. She still hisses some when trying to get Scooter to play but he has finally decided that she's not all bad. They raced around playing chase most of the morning. They shared a "toy", which was actually a piece of trash one of them found in the trashcan! Lucky has a collapsible, canvas kitty tent with 3 openings that she loves to knock over and then hide inside. Scooter decided to play with her in the tent today. They knocked it over, Lucky inside, Scooter out, and played "patty-paws" with each other for quite a while.
See? I knew things would work out!
