thats what I see when I go to read my mail
what happend to make so many people that have been here for so long to cancel did I miss sumthing along the way??

	That means there were Spammers E -mailing you. And the system cancelled there account before you opened the E - Mail

	naaa I am talking about members that have been here for a looong time ... I have been here for years and so have these people and it seems like they all cancelled at the same time .. . it seems that way .... may not have happened that way sence I only get on a couple days a week now.... I know when they have been removed for scammin lol

	Some people, when going on a prolonged absence, cancel their account to prevent coming back to a full inbox. Cancel doesn't necessarily mean forever...

	You are right. Virtually, everybody in Georgia & Alabama have left Match Doctor in the past year. There is not one single woman within 75 miles of my house on Match Doctor - of any age. I think they switched to Plenty of Fish because there are a lot more profiles listed there.

	I noticed the same thing...opened email...and cancels... and they weren't the spammers. I looked in the closet. They weren't there either. I'm guessing that...life...drew them to more...mmm...desired loops of feedback. I'm thinking of opening a website for retired dating site people..."Tired of not getting a date...of not finding the one, two or three? Join Ah_To_Hell_With_It.com and commiserate with others who wonder WTF does it take to get a great date around here?!"

	people are leaving because some of the people are rude to others and this website has become boring like all of them have and people are scamming

	I think it's because some members are using a dating site to air their political views, and some are just getting fed up with it. Certainly the fun has gone. Too many good people have left, and too many plonkers left on here.

	People are finally coming to their senses & realizing that having REAL dates with REAL people and forging REAL relationships means going out into the REAL world & leaving the internet "dating" websites behind. Also, I think others are getting tired of the whiney "poor me I can't find anyone . . .I'm a loser . . . what's wrong with me . . . I'm suffering from depression . . . I have issues", etc mentality that tends to run rampant around here.

	A feature of this site is that you can "cancel" your account and then easily reopen it later with nothing lost. People "cancel" for a lot of reasons, and it is often not a permanent cancel. I know many long time members who regularly cancel and then return. Some people do it for attention to get the "Oh, please come back...we can't live without you." comments going. Others do it for less desperate reasons.
