Most bloggers are reasonable, rational people, sharing their thoughts and ideas about everyday life.
Some of them, though... I get the feeling that, in earlier times, they'd be out on some street corner, shouting their paranoid drivel at the passerby. Yikes...
I'm starting to wonder if the internet is such a good thing. The crazies now find a large enough audience to believe that they're the majority, rather than the pitied and despised minority that they truly are...

[B]Now play nice.... I don't have enough courage to stand on a street corner.. It's much easier behind the curtain..
It's all a matter of perception.. After all.. this blog could be considered the same from someone else point of view..
I think some of the screaming is legit.. I think some of it is not.. as you well know.. I got myself caught up in it recently too about the Cars.gov thing... I think we all do at times.. . The FEAR spreading has been feverish of late.. I will probably get hit on the head by a lot of conservatives on this one.. but I think Michael Moore did a great job of explaining this whole thing in his movie Bowling for Columbine.. also he touched base with it in Sicko..

That's why my policy regards the political blogs is to remain cooly aloof and smack 'em in the azz sometimes. As long as it makes them laugh.
The idea that governmental policy is going to change because of some blogs on an internet dating site (with less than 500 people on at a time) is absurdist in the extreme. Yep, pretty funny stuff.
I just got taken to task in another blog for not caring about all the starving children in the world. Okay, I'll care.
There! The children are hungry no more!
did it work?

It's not as much you, Elmer. You at least TRY to maintain some perspective.
There are a few right-wing bloggers who have lost all connection with reality, though. And some of the posters who support them are even crazier than THEM, yikes!
Like I said, I blame the internet. Being anonymous and finding a community of like-minded simpletons and nutjobs does not equate to a good thing...

Napa, it really doesn't bother me that people get on here and yell a little. At least these people Dems, Reps, and Independents are engaged in the issues. They may have different interpretations of what's right, wrong and sometimes the truth as they see it but at least they show enough concern to get their message out.
