I am not a sports fan. The one exception is that I am a fan of the Houston Texans. I was an Oilers fan once upon a time. The problem is, I have no way to watch the games so I am just a frustrated Texan Texan.
Our local TV station is listed as an affiliate but has not carried pre-season for years. The locals all root for Dallas even though we're much closer and have closer ties to Houston than Dallas. (Ewe, Dallas Cowpokes!) I can't get cable. Dish Network never offered Houston channels. We dumped all TV except internet when we got high speed but still there's no way to watch the Texans. There are websites that promise access if I buy their software but I'm skeptical and don't have the dough for it anyway. So, like every year, the first day the Texan's play is a sad day.
Sigh.

Best football game in history was the first regular season game of the Texans when they waxed the stadium with the Cowpokes. Yeah!  
Dallas went south when what'zis name bought it and was so nasty to Landry.
No, gunn, we're too far from Houston and Beaumont. Hmm... I wonder if digital gets farther? I doubt it. I haven't checked that. Maybe I'll go hook up the antenna again.

The Texans are the beginning and the end of my sports interest. Except the Lufkin Panthers, of course. I'm not a Lufkinite but my wife is. Her dad has season tickets to Lufkin and is a big Dallas fan, too, but I forgive him for that. lol
