shouting at town hall meeting Funny when the Republicans were in office and this happen the Dems said it was the Americans waking up and exercising their rights  .................Now when it is happing because the AMERICAN people don't believe the LIES of the Dems and the BS agenda being shoved down their throat  they are labeled trouble makers and worst  , un American etc.  Mike you are a educated man.  .Can you tell us why if the plan is so good that the politicians don't want to give up their healthcare plan for he government proposed one ....And why they wont let the AMERICAN people vote on the health care plan  . No one has to give up any plan under the reform. There is a government option plan that you may or may not take. What is so difficult for you thick headed people to understand???? I just don't get it. Keep your corporate ripoff plan if you so choose.

Calm down Mission and get your panties out of a wad. It is a fair question why should the politicians get a top notch plan that covers them like royalty but yet they are trying to sell us a basic plan .................but both plans will be paid for by OUR tax dollars

Why dont you all try this.... Go to a town hall meeting, Listen to what is being said. Bing up points that you disagree with and rationally make your case. Thats what these meetings are all about. They want your opinion so they can fine tune things. I f people will go... and listen, they will find that alot of this crap floating around is just that....crap
For you divorced bloggers here..... When the ex used to scream at you... did ya listen or just tune it out?? No one hears when people are screaming!!!

Darn, I hope you guys don't take this too far.
I haven't been following it but I know it has gotten ugly in the past.
The Mods have to step in, wars starts, all this BS. I think that is one of the reasons they came up with the one comment only rule. We have the freedom to post as many as we want now again, I love it, but if it gets ugly, they (MD) might pull the plug on it again.
How about we take the debates to the forums, lots of threads in there, debates going fast and furious, it is a much better set up for debates then the blogs, the blogs are too slow.

the blog section is not a forum or chatroom. the comments are generally supposed to be directed to the blog and blogger. each blogger 'owns' his blog and is responsible for controlling it. if someone chooses the 'approval' route or actually censors responses, that is their choice.
there is no requirement that a blogger must post each and every comment publicly. the blogger will have received the comment in his or her email, and that's the point of comments: sharing your views with the blogger, not necessarily the world.
if someone has a counterpoint to make on a topic, they are welcome and even encouraged to write their own blog on the subject as long as it's not a direct persoanl attack on another member (attack the subject, not the person).

Alibama and his band of thieves know Health Care/Obama Care is a joke, what the bill actually says and what Alibama say it say are two very different things, Alibama even admitted Government can't run anything right, when he said Fed-Ex and UPS are doing just fine, the post office will be closing hundreds of locations and are going broke...That's Capitalism working and Socialism/Governmental progams failing. Now they want to manage our health care, when they can't even manage sending a letter 
Mr.Paul, Those of us who read, and not depend on the words coming out of politicans mouths who are known liars, stay informed Those that buy the sound clips and believe what Alibama says instead of the actual language of the bill, try to defend what they don't understand  it doesn't mater how smooth someone is or what they say, it means nothing, whats in writing becomes the letter of the law. Any body who has any understanding of the law, knows that all verbal acknowlegements and or guarantee's become null and void, when a written contract or document is present. it's then view as Just Words...Just Speechs! That's the problem with the Health Care plan, what's being said and what is actually written are two different things. This is why Alibama and the Dems can't defend this bill, not to mention they haven't read it, and the language of this bill keeps changing.
