This is my first and probably be my last blog that I will initiate. Being an old Seinfeld fan – this blog is about nothing. 
In the past, I have read many, many blogs – some blogs where people have been hurt and some where people have hurt others. Blogs of sheer happiness and blogs of incredible sadness. Blogs where people have definite “issues” (and should seek professional help). Blogs of fat people, skinny people, beautiful people and ugly people (sounds kind of like the old Oscar Meyer hotdog song). Blogs of parents and their out of control children (mine were poster children for birth control [I blame their mothers {of course}]). There has been blogs on race, sexual orientation, religion and political views (most of which are totally over my head and I fall asleep at the keyboard half-way in). Blogs of those who have found love and blogs of those that have lost love (sometimes the same persons). Blogs by aspiring writers, who use the forum to try out big words and for editorial guidance and reviewer comments. Blogs where the English language has been butchered and spelling reverts back to “hoak’d awn fonix” (never could understand why the word “phonic” was not spelled like it sounds).
My blog (this blog) is about none of those. My blog is about nothing. It has no social value, will cure no disease or mend any broken hearts. It stays on the surface and does not make one think to deeply. This blog is like watching National Lampoon’s Movie – Animal House and trying to figure out the hidden means - it’s a no-brainer (get over it).. there isn’t any. This blog, is all tongue in cheek and if you get it then great and if you don’t – don’t worry, cos neither do I. After all, it’s about nothing.
And by the way, it’s raining in Vegas today, otherwise, there would be no nothing blog – now that would be something.
