OF SEARCH AND SIGH

We bet
we breathe
we hope
we try
Searching technology
neighborhoods
and the sky

I want more
than a turn of phrase
a lilt or innuendo
filled with praise

Warm tongue touch
upon my neck
fluttering eyelids
caressing
my breasts

I will grace you
with a sigh
Half smile
Reaching grasp
Aching relief
jubilation
coming together
finally
at last
