WASHINGTON – As public support for the war in Afghanistan erodes, President Barack Obama soon may face two equally unattractive choices: increase U.S. troops levels to beat back a resilient enemy, or stick with the 68,000 already committed and risk the political fallout if that's not enough.
Gee, now doesn't that have a famliar ring to it. The same thing Bush was faced with in Iraq. Now what was Obamassiahs solution and advice to (constitutional) President Bush's situation in Iraq? OH, that's right BRING THE TROOPS HOME!! END THE WAR!! WE DON'T BELONG THERE!!

Obama is just another politician, he will say whatever is necessary to get the votes, and then proceed to follow his own agenda. Apparently, we learned nothing from the Soviet Unions war in Afghanistan. How many years will pass? How many billions will be spent? How many American lives will be lost? Before we come to the conclusion that waging a war over in that pile of rocks is accomplishing nothing. Wasnt the point to get Bin Laden?

Afghanistan & Iraq, border Iran. Iran is the next target on the war agenda. There is no pulling the troops out. This war will commence in to war with Russia and then ultimately whit China. Which is the goal. You haven't seen war yet. But you will, Oh, you will.

If they were pulling out, they would have pulled out by now. China flooded the global market with coal, collapsed the financial steel industries world wide. We are going to war with China, to depopulate and regulate it's coal output. There's your world war 3. Depression first, world war second. Don't worry, 2013 it will all be over.

It's amazing that when Bush was in office the media gave us a daily body and injury count and kept running totals, every bomb that went off was head line news, Bush was a War Monger. Harry "we can't win the war' Reid, Nancy "were fighting a losing battle" The Bukka babe Pelosi, John "they swift boated me" were killing innocent civilians and our soldiers are raping and piliaging villages Kerry, Hussien "were air raiding and bombing innocent women and children" Obama, The Congress (Democrats) said we needed a time table to be out of Iraq and Afghanistan, If he was elected president he would start withdrawling right away.
The Democrats in Congress said, The war is wrong we have no business in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have wasted human life, and money, Peolsi "The bukka babe" said that if Democrats win the House and Senate, they will stop funding these wars and bring our troops home, that was in 2006-2007, Congress won the house in 07 and kept funding the wars. Congress holds the purse strings not the president, Democrats lead by Pelosi and Reid promised they would end the war by defunding it, that was nearly 3 years ago.
Congress lead by... Pelosi, Reid, Clinton, Franks, Dodd, Obama, Kerry, made it very clear we can't win the war! We're wasting lives and money on a no win situation, "The Surge" won't work, Bush is no different then Hitler and should be impeached for war crimes. Clinton told General Petraius..."It would take a wilful suspension of disbelief to think we can win the war" Democracks called General Petraius, General Betray-Us...  She and anothers called him a liar, when he said we can win this war.
Pelosi said if democracks win both houses, they would bring ethics back to Washington, no more secrets and lies, the American people will be informed of everything going on in Washington, Transparency baby! Democracks will balance the budget, cut cost, end the war, bring the troops home right away.return the power to the people, Democracks will reach out to the other side and re-unite this country. We will have a Congress that listens to the people. 
So far, were still engaged in both wars, our economy is far worse then it's ever been, our debt far exceeds any debt this nation has ever seen,(created after Bush) their is no transparency, The House and Hussien have shoved Bill after Bill through the house, they them selves haven't read, but signed into law, have wilfully and intentionally decieved the public, They call those who disagree with all the spending and bills being passed not read, disagree with Socialistic Health care (Obama care) Their called Nazis Right Wing Nut jobs Haters Racist and Bigots. 
Now Democracks run things, any protest or disagreements are considered Anti-American, Anti-Patriotic, Pro-Nazi, and Racially Motivated. The President built his career on Community Organizing ( Protesting) Clinton stood up screaming in one of her speechs that it's Anti-American if you don't protest, Al Bore said the same thing, Hussiend said "Get in their faces and argue" you have the right to disagree!
No more Bush....Bush lied and people died....Impeach Bush!
Now their in power....all this is wrong everyone should unite behind their Government and give Hussien a chance  Amazing simply Amazing...

I voted for Obama, I think he is brilliant, he will make change for the good but I do not support the war in Afghanistan. We will lose there. We will sacrifice precious lives for NOTHING. You will see. It is a hell hole of a country...I say let em have it. It is not our duty to save the world. We need saving ourselves. Violence is the weapon of the weak.

well, I agree that our leaders need ; more get it done, or get out attitude in Afgh.
However, from my prospective, Afgh. is different from Iraq. How?....
Iraq was/is no threat to America, However the Taliban, in" Afgh." Have proven they
are.....One jet, one building, and thousands dead, at a time

It does seem like those who voted for change didnt get the kind they wanted.....at every step...he seems to do just what he said he wouldnt.....and changing one war for another one wasnt in the deal.......wonder if hes ever gonna put people back to work?.......so many questions...and no answers in sight.......this obama backer is starting to get disolusioned......cookie

Youre not alone my friend, there are many people who voted for him that now regret it.
Its a result of voting for a man no-one knew anything about other than his speeches, which were either stolen or written for him.
he was voted in by people who were desperate for change, he used that as his campaign message, but he wasnt very clear what change.. now people are realising, and it will cost the Americans greatly.

..and changing one war for another one wasnt in the deal. He said he would end the War in Iraq. He never said anything about not starting one in Afghanistan.
But, we know the Liberals will support the Afghan War if he tells them to.
His War won't be called illegal, pointless or a crime though.

I was really SHOCKED to know that the today's CNN news defense secretary Robert Gates said now we starts to imlement our strategies in afghan war. Dep. of State Hilary Clinton suggests to increase the troops.
What ? After all these 8 years of having war, losing troops and sacrifices, we NOW start to "implement the new strategies ???"
I think it has been wrong for having 'WAR" for sooo long. War shouldn't last for 8 years long and even longer. How could a normal human being and country sustain the "fist" fight, physical brutality 24/7 for 8 years and now it starts to turn around ?
I think it's ridiculous for this 2nd war from continuation of previous 1st Iraq war, no rationale and no reasoning.
