Now, I'm fairly young in terms of a numeric age. In regards this, something I've come to formulate and accept as my generic opinion is that age doesn't reflect on how mature you are, but often how long does it take for you to learn something?

Life seems to be a series of moments. These moments are a string of opportunities. These opportunities are varied on a set of rules that dictate your consequences. I've dated a lot of girls, and have had a handful of series relationships. In the beginning, I'm calm, cool, and collected. These opportunities are seized and advancements are made.

Over time, my barrier seems to break down. Stagnation becomes a direct result of conflicts that find no resolution. So, what does it take from a guy to make a relationship work? Is success in a relationship a direct result of how compatible you are to someone else? What kind of effort is needed, and more importantly, do you exert the effort over time or right from the beginning?

Sadly it takes me along time to learn stuff I should already know...

Good blog.

haha. Thanks Meem.

And Fender... I think that tends to be most people. For me personally, when I make a mistake, or I find myself in a predicament, I tell myself "This won't happen again" but sometimes it tends to happen anyway as soon as I let my guard down. It's character building. I usually just wait for a moment where I suddenly realize something... I mean really realize, and it just kind of changes everything, or maybe even nothing at all, but I feel better.

To have success in a relationship from the beginning your first effort should be in the love you dont intend to never lose.

I get that, kind of. But what about rules of datings, and things of that nature? Can it fairly be said that if you lose the girl you never intended to lose that she just wasn't meant for you? Or can a chain of mistakes change everything because you lacked the vision to see clearly?

I agree with mischoos here..... we all make mistakes in a relationship but I believe they were mistakes meant to be made so that we can learn from them, whether the other person remains with us or not. After all, mistakes are made on both sides...
