Yeah, that was me. I was a druggie for many years. I did change and I feel I have done better but I still seemed to have been attracted to people that would bring me down and slow my progress. Not their faults. They were they and I picked them. The last few relationships I have had have been with people that love to work.

And I so appreciate that aspect of them. It has helped me see that not all people are stuck in a rut and going nowhere. There are people that dream and create their dreams. There are people that love to work and even some of them love to make money and a future for themselves and the people they hold close to them.

I know my idea of a future is wildly different than most but I have even found a MALE friend that thinks like me so I know it IS possible to find men similar to me in their beliefs. I ain't sayin he is the one. But he is a friend that I feel comfortable with. It may never go past that but it soothes my soul so much just to be friends with a like minded male! Oh, I missed that! I missed that so terribly, being able to be my authentic self. Without fear or embarrassment.

This is my song I am dedicating myself to now. Certain phrases really resonate with me. I found it by accident and have it running thru my mind a lot.
