Greetings to all in MD Land.  A lot has happened over the past week. I was in St. Petersburg, FL. from last Friday to this Tuesday using up the last of my vacation days visiting an online friend down that way. Had a chance to enjoy the warm Gulf waters, do some shopping in Tampa, & sightsee in St. Petersburg. While down there I got the bad news that my Aunt Kathleen had passed away.  She was 3 weeks shy of her 92nd b-day. She developed a kidney infection, & her vitals pretty much shut down due to it. I'm glad she's with the Lord now & that she did not have a long, drawn out, painful suffering... especially since she had become severely immobile after her broken hip incident a year ago, coupled with progressing Alzheimer's & respiratory infections. Dad received word back from his halter monitor tests yesterday & his heart is fine all around.  They figure that his pain & itching from his shingles was causing his erratic heart rhythm, so they adjusted his meds for his tachycardia a bit. Although I just returned from vacation, I feel like I could use another one.  Single life sucks!!  Those of you that have a special someone that's there for you during grief, to share memorable times, & to kiss you goodnight, you're very fortunate. *HUGS & FOOTRUBS* ladies... *HANDSHAKES* guys..

Hey Jim,
Just read your blog--So sorry! But try and take comfort that she will always be with you for she will always be rememberd.
It is nice that she had a long life but I know we always want them to live forever. It is never "long enough"

Glad your back .. and really glad dad is doing so good .. sorry about your aunt .. almost 92 .. she must have did something right to live that long.. sometimes this life is hard .. but she walked right through it and is now getting her reward

I am SO glad about your dad being ok, and yet very sad for you for losing your dear aunt. Life can get challenging and even confusing at times, but it's just all that... life...

OH and you lady that is right around the corner? She will be worth waiting for and sweet, just like you....
