Today started with the usual dawn
The dark turned to light before my eyes
And the last thought I had of you was forlorn
Your goodness hid in your guise
And today became my hiding place
Of your past and your present slate
And I cannot control what is behind your face
And your hatred and miserable fate
Today I forgot all the anguish within
And the rage you seem cling
But today I forgot about you again and again
I'll never be puppet to string~~~~~
