I ended my last blog by stating I didn't think I could handle one more bad thing... I lied.... I can handle at least 2 more.
#1. The cat rehoming did not go as planned. I missed them too much and the rehomer said it wasn't working out on her end either. So it was decided I would pick them up this morning. She lives way out in the sticks and does not lock her door. Not uncommon around here. I had her permission to enter her home. Well I get there and one of my cats is gone. He is nowhere to be found. They are indoor only and have never been outside. The screen had been pushed out of the window. I tried calling the lady several times. I searched the main areas of the home and outside. Nothing!
I had to leave hurriedly( this will be #2) and could not find him. I left her a message I would be back tomorrow to search for him again.
She emailed me and did a 180. I invaded her privacy, how dare I enter her home, etc.
I'm trying to play nice because all I want is my cat safe and sound. BUT and this is a big BUT , how dare I anything... She had my cats less than 48 hours and lost one. They had no food whatsoever in their auto feeders. I could go on.
#2 And this is for all the parents out there. There is nothing scarier than getting a "call" about your child. My daughter, who is a very healthy 16 year old, had a seizure at school today. She was in Latin translating when her head hit the desk, she started clenching her teeth and fell over seizing. An ambulance was called to take her to the hospital. She was unconscious 7...7 whole minutes. She came to in the ambulance but didn't know where she was, what had happened, etc. Only thing she did know was her name.
After loads of tests including a pregnancy test , drug test , cat scan, the only thing they can find wrong is a urinary tract infection. ???
She cannot drive until she goes back to doctor. I have to make an appt. in the morning. I also want her to see a neurologist. She wants to go back to school tomorrow but I said no.
So I guess I can survive a few more bad things. It's not easy but that's life.

just ease your mind... not all seizures are caused due to neurologic malfunction, there are many possible things that can cause that, i remember a friend of mine and squad buddy who was dismissed cos he was diabetic, and low sugar in hes blood cause him to have seizures, thats how medical officer and him found out he was diabetic, everything started with a seizure and it wasnt easy to find out either cos he had to make alot of tests to find out what triggered that response.
Just stay calm about this maybe a tiny thing made her to knock unconcious and maybe was just a one time deal, get your daughter checked by the doctor. everything will be turn out fine youll see.

I know how you feel I have been a cat lover since I was a child. They are so much easier to care for . Acura(my cat) is very loving, she often sleeps on the bed with the boys, however she is very territorial and I cannot bring another cat into the house. Some people don't realize that animals are much like children they have to be cared for and in return you will have many years of love from them!!

Thanks for all the comments. CoCo has been crying since he came home. He misses his best friend, Lil Kitty.
My daughter, Alex is feeling better. We think she may have had 3 seizures yesterday. She is going back to doc this afternoon.

hi there, well the father of my friends 3 children has abandoned them all, her house payments are behind, her health isn't great, her eldest son is playing up horrendously, and creditors are chasing her. But she's still alive and kicking butt, so you'll get through this. All the best.
