I have to say that FALL has to be 1 of my most favorite times of the year! There seems to be a crispness in the air, a feeling of change. As you look up to the mountains and see the leaves starting to change their bright colors, they seem to take on a life of their own. I don’t think that there is a better time to take a ride, walk, or hike up the canyon and look for animals, gather a bouquet of colorful leaves, and just enjoy the sights and sounds of the approaching change that is taking place….

Fall was always my least favorite time of year, though not for the reasons you might think. It symbolized to me the end of summer, the end of freedom, the end of being able to sleep with the windows open, of being able to walk outside in shorts, of having the time to travel and do the things I really enjoyed in life. Because in the fall my busy season at work began. Long hours, day after day of loathesome, mind numbing boredom, of dealing with idiot after idiot.
This year though, I'm liking it. I'm not working and can enjoy what the season has to offer, maybe take a camping trip, really participate in some fall events instead of hearing about what other people did while I sat in a room.
