Such a humble man from my part of Kentucky and now he is no longer unemployed. I was so excited to see him win, but a little sad too because I wonder if it will turn his life upside down in a bad way or cause him to lose his humilty. Most people who make it big in the music business usually wind up with their homes being split apart and on drugs or alcohol of some type. I hope that this does not happen to him. He has never had a lot of money, so I hope he soon learns how to handle it. The runner up had a beautiful voice as well. I wondered if she would beat him out, but I am glad that he won. I believe that both are winners, she was a cancer survivor and will probably wind up with a contract as well, just like Susan Boyle did in Britain's Got Talent.

My daughter's store manager is from the same town as Kevin. Her facebook blog is fired up with all the excitement. I think we're only 20 miles from his hometown. Pretty cool, I'm glad a local person won! He must be on cloud Nine!

He is humble and his true spirit shone....BUT.. and this will probably tee some off but I don't think his voice was worth a million dollars... sorry.. but he was flat a lot and really didn't have a quality voice. I was really rooting for Barbara or Recycled Percussion but oh well.
