That's right (no pun) WWE CEO Linda McMahon resigns to lay a smackdown on the U.S. Senate! They definately know how to run a business to make money, and will have some really great lobyist. Really, if Triple H & The Animal Batista came to talk with you about helping to support an issue, would you say no?
Linda McMahon believes that Washington is "out of control" and that Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd has "lost his way and our trust." Linda McMahon is going to fight with three other Republicans for the seat All kidding aside, she really has the business sense to be great in a position like this. Hopefully she will survive being a politician, and keep her integrity intact. It's time to get rid of these life long professional politicians, and get some people with some common sense in office. Here is one of the articles Linda McMahon for senate
Remember, vote November 2010 for real change! Got a feeling this election may be more crucial than the one in 2012 will be.

McMahon joins an incredibly crowded Republican field for the opportunity to run against Chris Dodd next November. Certainly, she has name recognition and piles of personal money to commit to her campaign. And while it is early, polls conducted following her announcement aren't promising. At this point she's viewed as a vanity candidate and vanity candidates have not done well historically in CT. Something else that may hurt McMahon is her long relationship with current Governor Jodi Rell, whose polls numbers have fallen like a rock in recent months. Rell has been criticized by the legislature and others for the budget impasse that has been plaguing the state. It was Rell who appointed McMahon to the State Board of Education.
McMahon is now the 5th Republican in the race. The frontrunner is former Congressman Rob Simmons, Peter Schiff a former staffer of Ron Paul, State Senator Sam Caligiuri and former Ambassador Tom Foley.

I think the oppisition will run countless adds of her appearances on the SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT business of her husband. She won't stand a chance.
Now,, is she were to relocate to market that matched the demographics of the TV shows,,,,,,, then it might work for her.

If a wrestler and several actors can run for office and win. Then let Linda McMahon go for it.I hope she blows her competition out of the water.

I think this will be interesting to watch play out. There is a growing sentiment that people are getting tired of those that have been so involved in the political arena on both sides. Without the option of a viable thrid party, I think we may see more candidates elected that have never been very deep in politics. We all tell the "politician" jokes, how they lie, and can not be trusted, so we may well see a change in things. I hope in the future we may see some other limits set as to how long they can serve. Maybe in two terms they wouldn't get too rotten.
As far as Vincent "Kennedy" McMahon's steriod trial affecting things, well what are they going to say "Hey Vince was indicted, and then acquitted of all charges" so don't vote for the wife of an innocent man. Speaking of Vince, any woman who can put up with him for 43 years, can hold her own in the senate! lol

She needs to be reminded that the WWE and all the wrestlers are own by her, which is a far cry from real world of politics.
I know nothing about her, which means I can't say whether she would be good for the country or not.
