Elementary School Students Taught to Sing Praises of President Obama
Nearly 20 young children are captured in an online video as they sing songs that overflow with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," as they repeatedly chant the president's name and celebrate his accomplishments.
The superintendent of a New Jersey school where students were videotaped being taught to sing the praises of President Obama issued a statement Thursday saying the taping was unauthorized, but failed to address whether the the lesson -- taught durnig Black History Month -- was approved.
A YouTube video shows nearly 20 young children being led in a song overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again."
The video has set off families in Burlington, N.J., who say that politics shouldn't be forced on young students. MORE

China's authorities want to inject new life into a song collection by former leader Mao Zedong, by releasing a brand new version sung by 20-year-olds.
The recording has been compiled to mark the 110th anniversary of the birth of the revolutionary.
The state-run Beijing Times said the songs, which include a rap track, were being released in an effort to extend Mao's legacy to Chinese youth.

Calling those who protest Obama Care, Corporate Take over's, Stimulas (Porkulas spending) Funding ACORN, Cap and Trade and so forth are now anti-Americans, Racist, Haters, Nazi's, Right Wing Nut jobs, Gun toting religious wacko's clinging to their guns and religion. Oh I'm sorry what are they singing paraises to again?

The March on Washington depending on what news station you watch said there was 60,000 thousand to 1.7 million people who marched on Washingtion September 12th 2009 (big difference ) no arrest were made from the anti Obama crowd, no cleanup or damage was done to Washington from these "Radical Nazi's" The G-20 Summit protested by the "Peaceful Caring Liberals" caused over 50,000 dollars worth of damage and 83 Peaceful Liberals were arrested, for distruction of property, and or causing problems.The clean-up is still going on.

When I was in school, not only did our day start with the Pledge, we also sung God Bless American and The Star Spangle Banner.....at the time, those were considered Patriotic songs. It wasn't seen as "forcing religion" on anyone. Where do people get this nonsense? Seriously!

I'm doing this on my own. Isn't that what the American dream is supposed to be? Earning your own way and not having the Government do it for you? And as to the war on terror....excuse me...Bin Laden is still out there, along with his followers, so, that war is not over by a long shot. If we "give up" now, the terrorists win.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....the people in this country want politicians to really work for us, the voters, then stop re electing them over and over and over....if they don't do what they promise, don't re elect them to give them a second chance. Maybe if they realize the voters have had it, they will stop kissing up to special interest groups and get back to what they are supposed to be doing, and that is representing US. And that goes for ALL parties in DC.

This reminds me of when I was in school....Nelson Rockefeller was running for Governor of NY, We were offered a day off from school if we would ride a bus (school bus) the 60 miles to Buffalo and be a loud and visible presence for his campaign event. We learned all of the chants and songs, wore the straw hats with red/white/blue ribbons, carried pom poms, and our energy was piqued and 'used' by the Republican Party.
A similar offer at a later time was presented to us by the Dems....I remember the chant, "Goldwater in '64, cold water in '65, no water in '66". We were kids....no political affiliations to speak of....but time off from school with no study hall monitor telling us to hush? No brainer....it was a fun experience, and we learned much about the political process. (and the need to 'fill' an event center)

I am in touch with my British friends and family regularly, it seems the honeymoon is over press wise for Obama over there, more and more stuff is coming out now over there about whats going on here.

Elections have consequences. The people of this nation elected a democrat majority in the House and Senate and put a democrat in the White House all with the help of the media and the Hippie generation. Patty Hearst and Jane Fonda have won and all of us who serviced this country during Vietnam have lost. We did not lose the war on the battle fields but on the streets of San Francisco, New York, and Washington DC. Now we are losing our country to these same people who have an inner city agenda.
The Democrats are only interested in obtaining more power and more government control. Moveon.org, code pink, aborntionist, atheist, Acorn, black caucus, the womens movement, unions,and gay rights have all joined forces. It has already happened in California. California is a one party state and is bankrupt from entitlements. People are on extended unemployment, hanging out on streets corners, selling drugs and impregnating women. There are no family values all they can say is that's my baby's daddy.
The take over of our country started when WE elected democrats to a majority during Bush's second term. First they raised the minimuin wage and the economy went bad and now we are becoming Hitler's Germany. The government has taken over the car indusry, the banking industry and is trying to take over health care. Our children are being indoctrinated in school from first grade through college. We are removing God from our country and customs. Politicians vote for bills without reading them just because a democrat is the sponsor. We did this to America..
Just think how our Allies must feel. We just few Poland under the bus by canceling the missle defense system. Are we backing Israel or Iran? What about South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan? Would you trust America?
We fought in Korea and Vietnam to stop the spread of communism but because of our generation (the don't give a damn generation) we have joined them. We are giving up on the War on Terror. What would of happened if our parents had given up after Pearl Harbor? I use to wonder how the German people allowed Hitler to accomplish so much, so quickly and completely take over their country. I can see it now can you?

It doesn't surprise me about the agenda their teaching kids in schools now days. Back about 10 years ago we were building a new elementary school in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. Lots of illegals there working for Pilgrim's Chickens. Well, to make a long story short, the school wanted to give us construction workers an appreciation day. The day came around and we headed off into the cafeteria for the snacks and drinks, getting a tour of the old school we were replacing in the mean time. Wow, what a surprised...the flags that were flying in the class rooms were not the U.S. flags but Mexican flags!! A lot of the childrens' art work posters (Easter was coming up) were in Spanish and even saw children's cut out bunnies wearing sombreros!! This didn't set too well with a bunch of hard hats and we didn't linger very long for the appreciation deal. As a matter of fact, the job superintendent had to force us to go back in two more times and told us to even fill the pockets of our carharts full of the snacks since the chool went to all the trouble for our benefit. How can you expect anyone to appreciate our freedoms and the great Bill of Rights when they won't even learn our language, can't cut the ties to "the old country", or respect our laws???

Um, Musicianfriend...I'm Jewish and was not aware that according to our "holy book" (the Torah) it is 'okay to lie and cheat' those of other religions. I spent many years going to temple and don't really remember that particular lesson. What I DO remember were family reunions with somber stories and prayers for the generations who came before us and suffered unspeakably, quietly whispering the names of those who were slaughtered, even seeing an elderly great uncle with a number tattooed on his forearm from his stay in Auschwitz. The last thing on anyone's mind was to conspire against or take advantage of others.

I am in touch with my British friends and family regularly, it seems the honeymoon is over press wise for Obama over there, more and more stuff is coming out now over there about whats going on here.
Unlike the Liberal media here who are still kissing up to Obama on very scary levels.
The mainstream media isnt mainstream any more, Since GE is now also MSNBC, they have their own political agenda and the people who think they are getting unbiased factual news from them are being sadly misguided.
Its taking broadcasters like Glen Beck and Rush Limbach to expose whats going on, their viewing and listening levels are at an all time high, whilst msnbc. abc and the like are struggling because people are getting slowly wise to the corruption in their incredibly biased reporting, if in fact they report events at all.

It's ashame when other countries see more of what's happening here then some Americans The mainstream drive by lap dog media, have lost the majority of their viewers to Fox Hannity Beck and Rush, because they want to know what's going on, rather then what Obama tells them to say. Amazing how Obama will go on every network and talk about change we can believe in and how he is reaching out to the other side, yet has failed to reach out to half of America, or go on any talk show that has the largest audiences in the US.
Rush's audience alone is larger the ABC NBC and CBS combined, over 20 million a week tune in to hear Rush, Obama can't pull that crowd anymore, people have woke up to see this clown is full of CaCa Pretty sad when a talk show host has a larger listening base then the messiah

The take over of our country started when WE elected democrats to a majority during Bush's second term. First they raised the minimuin wage and the economy went bad and now we are becoming Hitler's Germany. The government has taken over the car indusry, the banking industry and is trying to take over health care. Our children are being indoctrinated in school from first grade through college. We are removing God from our country and customs. Politicians vote for bills without reading them just because a democrat is the sponsor. We did this to America..
Just think how our Allies must feel. We just few Poland under the bus by canceling the missle defense system. Are we backing Israel or Iran? What about South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan? Would you trust America?

It doesn't surprise me about the agenda their teaching kids in schools now days. Back about 10 years ago we were building a new elementary school in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. Lots of illegals there working for Pilgrim's Chickens. Well, to make a long story short, the school wanted to give us construction workers an appreciation day. The day came around and we headed off into the cafeteria for the snacks and drinks, getting a tour of the old school we were replacing in the mean time. Wow, what a surprised...the flags that were flying in the class rooms were not the U.S. flags but Mexican flags!! A lot of the childrens' art work posters (Easter was coming up) were in Spanish and even saw children's cut out bunnies wearing sombreros!! This didn't set too well with a bunch of hard hats and we didn't linger very long for the appreciation deal. As a matter of fact, the job superintendent had to force us to go back in two more times and told us to even fill the pockets of our carharts full of the snacks since the chool went to all the trouble for our benefit. How can you expect anyone to appreciate our freedoms and the great Bill of Rights when they won't even learn our language, can't cut the ties to "the old country", or respect our laws???

I understand your frustration and agree, accepting people for who they are and welcoming them here from other countries, shouldn't include changing our country to look like theirs. Each country has it's own identity and should be respected by those who migrate to it. They should learn the language and ways of the country they come to, not expect that country to change who they are for them. This is not Mexico, they left for a reason. Cultural differences and customes should be celebrated at home and with families not at schools. I'm part Mexican, Indian and white but first and foremost I'm American.

There are a few schools already named after Obama and students go there as well, does that make it a horror too? It's one thing to name a school after a president sitting or past, that shows respect for that president, I'm cool with that, even if I don't agree with that president. But to chant and sing praises is pushing it to far.Were suppose to study our presidents not worship them. Nice try on the spin though...

I agree that the teacher was wrong for doing it and should be punish slightly.
But, this is far from being our top concern, with all the other problems that need to be taken care of properly.

I'm not sure if punishment is needed for the teacher, but putting a stop to it does need to happen. It may not be a top concern in our troubled times, but changes usually happen in small steps, and if a few schools start doing it, no telling how many schools will follow then suddenly a little concern turns into a big concern. So it should be addressed and stopped.

I agree, it should be a great concern, when our children are being taught to bow to the alter of Obama, he is simply a president, not a God.... The founding Fathers understood how this power could be abused, thus they wrote the Constitution with limited powers and terms for those with the power so it wouldn't go to their heads or become a dictatorship. I'm with you on this..a little problem can easily turn into a big problem, ACORN should be a fine example of that.

But any more be very careful as to what is reported and by whom..many of these things are staged to piss you off.
Fox media has paid out in settlements over a million bucks in the last 10 years to settle law suits.
