I'll be there -

Even after my time on earth is done,
I'll be there;
because...you are my flesh,
my bone, my blood, my life's breath.

I'll be there, as the sun
streaming through the windshield
on a cold and windy day;
blessing you with warmth
to urge you on your way.

I'll be there, as a song
playing softly in your head...
"Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay",
and you'll say to yourself, "where
in the world did that come from?"

I'll be there, on a summer afternoon,
an obscure shadow hiding in the shade;
reminding you to never be afraid, to live
life joyfully and with abandon, for life
is over far too soon.

I'll be there, something you forgot;
as a whisper brushes your thoughts...
it will be me, reminding you, life's joy
and living joyfully is within you;
and, cannot be bought.

I'll be there, an itch under your skin,
when you find your patience is
wearing thin.
I'll be there, to sooth the joy and
contentment back again.

I'll be there, in the circle of your lense,
in every picture you take -
in the park, in the woods, or by the lake;
I'll be there in a hundred different ways,
in a hundred different places; no matter
what direction your life may take - I'll
be there to fill your days.....
