I have been remiss in posting updated info about my sister, Tink. I apologize to those who have had concerned thoughts about her progress and present health status.
She has her own home now (apartment) in UP north MI. This is solely due to the perseverance of Tink, her son and the hospital staff. Despite her physical disabilities, the quality of her life is %100 better compared to what it was prior to her stroke. She is safe, and still is challenging left side paralysis. She has no computer or she would be on here pecking away with one hand to all her friends. I'm hoping her son finds a way to amend that....he will if he can.
Her son and daughter-in-law see that her needs are met and they take her on 'outings' regularly. Keep in mind, the little things that most take for granted, are treasures and constant gratitudes to Tink.
I'm sure she misses all her connections and friends here on MD. She's been here a good long time and I think she'll be back. 
I hope this relieves everyone's concerned thoughts. If her situation changes, I'll let you all know!

Yes, Dimple never take things for granted.........I never do and make sure I am aware of things on a constant basis and make sure family and friends realize this.......life is soo precious and should always remain that xo

I'm so happy to hear that she is doing better...Tell her we all send lot's of love her way and can't wait to have her back...Itw ould be a blessing if she had a computer so she would have a way to keep in touch with all of her friends here...

We most definitely take the many, day-to-day little things for granted far too much, until they are, sadly, either taken from us or someone close to us.
