Morbid Pumpkin Poem

Cut you from the stalk... you die
dice you up and smash you
into a pumpkin pie
put you in a seething fire
and draw you out to cool
eat you with whipped cream
but never heard you scream
even as you watched me
take your seeds to plant
for I intend to eat your children too!

Sorry if this poem seemed morbid
but it was not tasteless
