And DO NOT tell me you like em with orange sauce!

Our cat, the one we call tripod from time to time is a bit quirky. She has earned the right to do as she pleases (like she'd ask me anyway). A few months ago I was cleaning out JUNK from my room and discarded a small box about the size of a large shoebox. I'm not real clear how it ended up under the stool that sits beneath my window but it did. Next thing I know she took up residence in the box. She rubbed, scooched and twisted until she got her large self neatly tucked inside.

Several months later, the box remains...only now the front is broken out. She doesn't seem to mind, there she can be found 18 out of 24 hours a day. She leaves to go potty and eat and do cat stuff but she always returns to claim her thone. Most days she can be seen rubbing her chin on the broken side, playing with her tail or just curled up giving you the "ha, bet you wish you had a box" look.

Cats!

How cool. Cats are so easily pleased & entertained. Mine used to curl up in a sideways paper bag.

This is so cute. I have a box in my computer room that I was going to throw out, but discovered my four cats like to take turns sleeping in it....or using it for a scratching post. So......here it sits. I won't throw it out now. I don't care how it makes the room look. They like it....so it stays.

Great share.........

I love my cats! I have 2...littermates and they've been with me it will soon be 9 years. They too like boxes and paper grocery sacks. One loves those plastic bags like from Walmart...she crawls in and I pick it up and swing her and the higher the better..lol. I can hardly keep her out of the bag long enough to empty it.

That's cute. Two of my oldest cats used to snuggle together in a box lined with a towel. Aside from doing "catly" duties as you mentioned, they were always in that box.

Sounds like my Zebulon, he's a 3 legged 1 eared cat I got after it was adopted out twice through the local humane society, and abandoned by the pathetic people who didn't take very good care of him. He has his issues, and a bit of an attitude, but he's just like me! I love him none the less, and so do my other Fur-Babies!

My cat Junior loves boxes,he has one he's been sleeping in for 6 months now.A couple of years ago I bought my son a 6 foot basketball hoop, after I got the box emty,I leaned the box on the couch with the open side up,my cat jumped in and slid down to the bottom of the box,he would usually lay there but when he's in a playful mood,he would climb to the top just to slide back down,he would do that a few times, get out,go eat then jump back in to slide down again.

My cat spike use to sleep in my daughters room with the other two cats....but as he got older...he wanted to roam the house at nite......which was good for me.....after all.....part of the reason for them being here is mouse control in the kitchen....we live just outside of town with a corn field across the street.....and they come up thru the basement.....but every morning when my alarm goes off...hes waiting outside my bedroom door willyworming for me on the floor.......cookie

Have you ever seen a cat try to climb into a capri sun box? It's quite comical. I leave them out all the time just so I can laugh at Yogi..LOL
