It is impossible to fight with someone who just walks away, They guy who stays, to trade words, insults, and finally blows, is easy to engage. If fighting is your fun, the stay-and-duke-it-out sort is your meat, you can hook the poor bozo every time, and have your fun with him.
The walk away kind are an aggrevation to a real fighter, no fun there.
And the guy that walks away laughing at you, or praying for you, why that's enough to make a man want to take up some other entertainment.

I am not big enough to fight, and after seeing 2 guys killed in bar fights I walk away if possible, if not I will shot him.

Fighting,,, violence,,, are best done without hate. And those that can do it without hate,,, without blood rage,,, are true preditors.
It's not a pretty business,,, ever. Everyone looses something.
Yes,,, walking away is always preferred,,,
and it takes a bunch of bravey to do so,,,,
but don't turn your back.
A blow hard will not know what to do. A preditor will thank God for his good fortune, as he closes on your back.
There is a fine line between brave and foolhardy.

Some people didn't mean to fight but some other people like to make it be the fight,that's the problem.
I sometimes regret of viewing some bad blogs( just becos of my curiousity )that 's kind of nagging bashing,they think someone bashing the others but from what I can see in their blog , they don't even realize what they are doing by judging that person and rile up bad attitude towards the other person just becos of their personal dislike issue never make the people like this happy with anyone blog .
I rather post something in an act of something matters than wastign my lifetime to create the fight with anyone.
It's hard Ttom to understand some people and for people to understand the others ,
I like the walk away it makes me think about our saying when someone show hate or anger towards someone if you just ignore let it get t hrough your ear from left to right and out of our sight,what the other person would feel...the hate is rising because we didn't feed the meat to that person when that person really expects it.I find it's harder to fight than ignoring

Great write, ttom. It gets easier and easier to be able to pick out the ones who live to fight. Therefore, after a while it is unnecessary to have to even turn your back to them. You just know to avoid them altogether.

I disagree...I think its the rudeness that abounds here...for instance..the intense attacks on Christianity has caused a couple of my friends to leave MD......and some to not even post anything..
Its rude to do what those people do..and were supposed to smile and accept it...
I have always wondered why the standard is set so high for us...and so low for 'them'...
Your right..the fighting has sent alot of folks packing right on out of MD..
There are instances of thread ganstas..ganging up mercilessly on a poster...saying terrible things about the poster instead of addressing the subject of the post...Alot of the conservatives that I knew left....

Freedom of speech, I guess. I think people are entitled to defend themselves from merciless, unrelenting, vicious attack. It's the American way. Seems to have caught on all around the world.
