Ever have one of those days that you KNOW you should just shut your mouth and leave sleeping dogs alone? Well today isnt one of those days for me.
I was reading blogs today, the rain makes it hard to work outside with the cold. That and its a bit dangerous to play with chainsaws with wet leaves on the ground.
Anyways, religion, there was a comment that struck me as quite funny and instead of responding, I figured I would add my two cents. The comment was that we think xtianity is a threat and we fear it. I assure you, the hatred and contempt for the religion is based full well on what I have seen, know, and have done reserch on. I will admit it is a sad thing that the few ruin any religion for the masses. The extremists and the just plain nuts. I have never hurt or killed someone ritualisticly. (sp?) I have never taken the life of an animal for my Teacher and Master. I was xtian for about 25 yers of my life. I have read about 3 different versions of the bible and can talk any JW into the ground. They dont bother me much after the last one. All he could come up with was "it says jehova in the bible instead of god". The only reason xtianity has calmed down is because there are laws against murder. Though ignored in Salem MA. circa 1692. How many millions have died during the inquisistions? (sp?) xtianity has been one of the most destructive forces in this world.

I follow no real religion other that to call myself a Satanist. I follow the path of darkness. For some reason I have always had an affinity for it even as a child. That doesnt mean I am evil, nor does it mean I am good. My actions and my words dictate who I am, and I do incorperate my beliefs in day to day life. I take full responsibility for my actions, NO EXCUSES. I will not tolerate that in myself. Yes I do believe the strong will march over the weak, that is the nature of evolution.
I use my religion as a way of life. To give up is not even an option. I dont rely on the strength of Satan to help me through things. If I cant do it on my own, no amount of "spiritual" help will solve the problem. Its a do or die philosophy. I know I get knocked down from time to time, but I always get back up. There is no place for a coward in life, granted im still scared of bees and stingy things as I am VERY alergic. You should see me run screaming, many MANY have laughed.
One of my projects is to find where the stories of the bible came from. You would be suprised of how much is stolen from other cultures that moses and the Jews visited during the Great Desert Vacation.

I see that there is balance in all things on this planet. Take away too much of one thing, something pops up and wipes out the excess to balance it out. In matters of spirit and even in matters of man-made religion. Take what you need, leave the rest. For may, hell is here on earth, so perhaps Satan, or whatever the entity with dominion over the earth is, is just doing their job! ;-)

One of the best places to begin would be to read Hester's book "The History Of the Hebrews"....it was one of my textbooks in college as I studied the great religions...
and I think you would find the documentary presented on National Geograpic very interesting about tracing genelogy of humans back to EVE....from Egypt area....
geneology is traced through the MOTHER...not the father...
Patriotarchy(sp) is evolved back and forth thru history....namely...sometimes man is the head of society and sometimes woman is the driver of forces....
a "spirit" is of neither sex....but rather attributes of both...as it takes ying and yang in life.....
and only 2 things exist in the whole universe...energy and matter...neither of which can be destroyed...only changed from one to the other......by the other....
and by the way.....BOTH Muslum and Judiasm had Abraham as the Father of their belief system.....a historical fact.... hummmmn...makes one wonder???

Larry, you're putting all Christians in one basket. The main source of trouble for Christianity is Catholicism. I don't mean to insult Catholics, but the truth is Catholicism is rife with pagan doctrines. This is propagated simply because people don't read for themselves, and believe whatever they're told.
It's amusing how people like to demean Christianity and call it a false religion, but yet try to tell Christians how to behave according to the precepts of Christianity.

What about antimatter? Although still considered a theory, antielectrons (an electron with a positive charge) and antiprotons (a proton with a negative charge) do exist. They can form an antihydrogen atom in the same way that an electron and a proton form a normal matter hydrogen atom. So antimatter has to exist....right?

Yes,,, since 1995 when it was manufactured by man in a controlled environment. They made 9 atoms of antihydrogen.
It could not maintain form in the natuarl environment,,, as when it came into contact with other matter,, it would anialate.
Now,, anti-matter,,, is still a misnomer. Antihydrogen has an anti-proton (a proton with a negative charge) and a positron (electron with a postive charge). The charge is different,, but the anti-hydrogen atom,, still has an atomic weight of 1, and still takes up space.
The common definition of matter, is a subtance that has weight and volume.
,,, and thus,,, anti-matter is still matter.
So the statement -
only 2 things exist in the whole universe...energy and matter
still holds true when challenged by the existance of anti-matter.

I'm a Christian and I'm of the feeling that you're entitled to your Satanism and any other personal beliefs you may desire to have. I'm entitled to mine. I'm more than willing to respect your right to yours, if you'll respect my right to mine.
Where we'll have a problem is if you're mocking my beliefs or me because of them. You keep yours, I'll keep mine, and we'll attempt to respect one another as exactly who we are and it's all good. No need to quibble.

C-BOND - Damn good question. No one has ever seen a black hole,,, they have only seen the effects of black holes. Like the bending of light to them, and the fact that when viewed from earth, or orbit of earth, there is a void,,, in space. As a group,,, we theorize that blackholes are areas of highly concentrated gravitational forces,,, formed from the colapse of a star. As such,, (most theories),,, suggest that they super concentrate matter. But,,, since those theories do not suggest that the mass is elminated,,, only condensed,,, matter that enters a black hole whould still be matter. I think the classic example I've heard given,,, is that an aircraft carrier condensed by a black hole would be small enough to fit in your hand,,, but it would still over 100,000 tons.
But,, there are no absolutes when it comes to black holes. You are going to have to talk to Steven Hawkin for that,,, and I have trouble keeping up with that guy sometimes.
