You are stranded on a deserted island. What 3 items would you choose to have with you?
Sure you could say, "A guide to surviving on a deserted island" or "Bear Grylls", but that would be too easy. Also, I'm throwing a wrench into the scenario. You cannot have a marine radio or any other "rescue" gear, only survival stuff. The dilema of this situation is that you will NEVER be rescued.
Remember........no flares or boats or things that will get you rescued or off the island.
Let the pondering begin...................

Well, here is my list:
A knife
A pocket fisherman/fishing pole
A good pair of rugged shoes (Cuz I remember that scene where Tom Hanks cut his feet up on the sharp coral and rocks in "Castaway".)
Water is good, but when it rains, I will have fresh water. The internet thingy kinda falls into the "rescue" gear concept. And three women? Well, that kinda falls into the "Bear Grylls" category. But, if the rules were different and I could have a companion (as much as I love women)......I would choose Bear or Les Stroud.

1) Jessica Alba
2) A loaded shotgun
3) A tame lion
Let's face it, who wouldn't want to be stuck on a deserted island with her, and hunting is easier when you've got an 800 pound killing machine on your side.

2 Hunting dogs A good Knife Clive Owen
Hunting dogs can survive off island water and eat a little of anything they catch. They can breed so i will never run out of dogs.
Knife, no explanation necessary
Clive Owen, because this is my damn island and if i'm stuck here, i better have Clive Owen to keep me occupied.

I mean, think about it.........Chicken can eat bugs and little crabs and stuff, so they would be perfect. Cows probably couldn't survive off of palm leaves and coconut husks........so you would need some hay or some seeds that would grow in sand.

Chickens can give you breakfast and dinner. Rooster doubles as an alarm clock. Frying pan doubles as the reset button on the alarm clock.

Ah HA! CB! You can get fresh water from seawater by going about 50 yards inland and digging a pit. The more you can travel inland without increasing your elevation, the better your chances. The actual earth is a great water filter for such things. So...
A longbow A box of about 50 broadheads A BMF knife (you know, with compass, sewing apparatus, etc in the handle) made from S30V steel, best for anti-corrosive properties and holding its edge.
I'm not terribly girly, or so I've been told.

Yes.....Jimmy Lile had a showroom about 5 miles away from me, but it's closed now I think. I have a few of his knives as well as 2 Gil Hibben knives. My favorite is a SOG I got as a gift from one of the guys I treated when I was a Navy Medic. That thing is probably the sharpest knife I have ever held in my hand and I used to be a sous chef.
