I was talking with a 41 year old woman a few days ago and mentioned I had just made a milkshake. She was surprised and asked, "How do you make them?" I almost could not believe there was anyone who could be that age and not figure that one out.
When I was a boy I learned to cook. I was the oldest of 5 so it was my job on certain days to do the cooking. I sewed buttons on my own shirts to save Mom time and I knew how to mop a floor with a rag. At the age of 12, I had my own garden where I grew lettuce, radishes, potatos, tomatoes, carrots and nice flowers. Today I make my bed each morning and although I live alone I put the toilet seat down and change the paper rolls when they are empty. I pick up the towel safter my shower and hang them up. I never took Home Economics in school but I did take Drafting, Wood and Metal Shop.
For those of you who wish to make a milkshake, you just add milk to ice cream and stir it up. If that seems tough go to Dairy Queen.
