Sorry, no foul mouthed angry poem tonight. Nor do I have any humorous remarks. Just a few things I noticed and would like to mention.

When I posted about my past, it wasn't the Christians who came in support of me. Nor was it the Atheists, Pagans, Democrats, or Republicans.

It was the people of Matchdoctor. Race, religion, and political preferences were set aside and forgotton to give a friend the encouragement he needed to speak about something horrible. An entire blog with no fighting or bickering. No one calling anyone names or trying to go one up on someone else because of the differences in things they believe in.

But sure enough, two blogs later, two people who had shown me such heartfelt kindness were ripping each other apart over trivial differences.

Two months ago I stopped posting here for a while. The biggest reason was because I found myself being drawn into the stupid arguments over meaningless things at a time when I was trying to face serious issues. That doesn't happen anymore. Remembering how well the one comment per blog rule worked, I try to maintain that concept with my replies. It keeps me from arguing with someone who tries to use science to debunk science.

This isn't a plea for peace. Jen tried that once and it failed. And she's a hell of a lot prettier than me. So there's no use in thinking my ugly mug can make people listen any better. I just wanted to post my observation and say thanks to all the people who showed me so much support.

What a sensitive, beautiful blog, Kjac. You've put forth something we must all strive for, even in our disagreement.

Hey brother, life's a battlefield, what fun would it be if it was flawless. If everything was perfect and painless, we would all go fvcken insane. Well that's kind of an oxymoron, we are all fvcken insane, welcome home sanitarium.

Kjac, we may have a few differences, but I have always respected the fact that while I occasionally think you have arrived at an incorrect conclusion, you have in fact reached a conclusion after some thought, not as a knee-jerk reaction to something because someone else told you how to think. In my book, that's called being "principled." Hang in there, dude. Too few of you around to lose any more.

It just goes to show that MD can be used as a mask for people . . . an ever-changing mask.
How you first think someone is according to their profile/postings, etc is not necessarily how they really are.
"Ghost Writers" is how I like to think of it . . . the writing is done under a pseudo-name, not the real one.

Heck . . . I may not be as sweet as y'all think I am!!

Often times I don't comment on your blogs.. don't think that I don't wish you peace in troubled times.. because I do.. always.

I agree with you.. most of my support throughout my cancer journey came from friends here on MD....most I have never met in person.. but I know their hearts.

Even though it is rough for you right now.. I'm glad you have a few supporters here in MD land

...hey ,man ...I wasn't sure what this was all about at first ,so I went back and read some of your previous blogs(I haven't been active on here much the past few months due to career change ,moving etc)after reading THAT one I have a much better understanding of who you are and what you are about ...it also explains a lot of the edginess I've picked up from many of your previous writings .I can't say that I can relate personally your experiences ,both my parents were (and still are) loving and supportive thruout my life .There were times of course as a child I thought they were a bit harsh where discipline was concerned but as I've grown older I've realised they were just average," normal"(whatever that is these days..lol)loving parents determined to steer me down the right paths in life...for a while I thought you were a real horses ass but now I know better and understand ....will look forward to future insights you may share in the future....
