(a request for my friends)
I'm asking you to again join my "Special Service" team in sending up prayers on my behalf. I begin another chemo session the first part of November. I'll be going once a week on Fridays with lower doses this time and am expected to keep my. 
The doctor is very positive in all of this as I did so well the last time. I'm in a good "bracket" of survivors as I beat a lot of odds the last time already. She (the doctor) commented yesterday that she has never known anyone who went as long as I have before having this type of cancer return. I am told to see this as a cronic condition now which is highly treatable.... similar to one dealing with diabetes. Yes it's there, yes it's cronic, and yes... IT'S TREATABLE!!!!
We may not have a cure YET, but we've come a long way baby!!! We are now in an age of "living with cancer" vs "dying from cancer." (Not in all cases I know, but in many. PTL!)
You have all been such a wonderful support group for so many of us and such a POWERFUL prayer team. Thank you for being our "special agents".

I know no one wants to have to go through cancer treatments.. especially a return time but like you said,. it IS treatable and doable!!

Oh, Pat, I am so sorry to hear that it is chronic. But with God, ALL things are possible and with everyone's prayers it is possible that someday it could TOTALLY disappear. It IS possible. But I am so glad to know that it is treatable.
And yes, this site has become a most powerful support group. And the power of prayer is STRONG here. You can count me on that team. My prayers are with you. And may God bless you bountifully!
