You know, it's pretty cool to have an imaginary friend. They can look, act, dress, and be whoever you want them to be. They can even have super powers and be famous stars. (Real stars, not the Disney kind)
The problem with being imaginary though, is that somewhere along the way, people around you start questioning your sanity. As if the imaginary friend you talk to exists only in your mind or something. That's when the problems start.
Because your imaginary friend is one of your best friends, the need to defend them is strong. It clouds your judgement and makes you do and say things you normally wouldn't. It is also extremely easy to get irate over someone attacking your imaginary friend or claiming that their imaginary friend is better than yours.
Some would say it's abnormal to brag about having an imaginary friend. That not only should you keep it quiet, but maybe you shouldn't have one at all. But every once in a while you can find someone who will want your imaginary friend to be theirs too. In my opinion, you must tell everyone about your imaginary friend, whether they want to hear it or not. That way you'll never miss the one person who might want to share your imaginary friend with them.
A lot of people around me have heard me praise my imaginary friend. And now so have all of you. Because if you don't have an imaginary friend, your life must truly be miserable.

I have several imaginary friends. They live in my head,, and whisper instructions to me when I sleep,,, and yell at me when I'm awake.
Sometimes,, they get distracted and argue among themselves,,, and I can slip out and get some work done.
They like the pills,,, the blue ones the best. It fits the best under our tongue,, ,so we can spit it out later.
Mr. nut case down the hall trades his peaches for the blue ones.
Oh, shit,,,, here comes the nurse again. I better get off of here, and put back on the solitaire.
