I have just seen the most unsettling documentary. On further research i am truly shocked to discover each year, more than 1,000,000 women and nearly 400,000 men in the United States are victims of stalking. Please take the time to read this links ideas on how to handle this:

How arrogant of the stalker? Just who do they think they are? Are they not aware that this behaviour is completely out of line? How does one become so obsessed with another individual that nothing else matters? I had a stalker once but fortunately the moment i confronted him on it he stopped. It seems I was lucky, i didnt realise the extent of this problem.

The law has no teeth, all they can do is reprimand the perpetrator and reassure the victim. In fact many stalkers get angry enough to become violent after police intervention. So this means you have to become more responsible and careful who you associate with. It seems some people are Walter Mitty enough to believe you are part of their delusional world.

Desperation will only attract the wrong ones, please value yourself more than that.
