I received the seasonal flu shot about a month ago, I would be first in line for the swine flu shot if I could. They are made the same way as the seasonal.

I don't usually get flu shots, but the last time I did I was sick the next day, just a lowgrade mild fever, but it didn't last long. I might consider getting a shot for this season.

Flu shots have always made me sicker than the flu generally does. So I will pass.
I have develpoed an anaphlylaxis reactions to certain drugs. Primarily aleve/naproxin, because of the possible use of squalene as an adjuvant in the H1N1 vaccine. Because of my weird steriod non / steriod reactions I am staying way clear of the H1N1 vaccine.
There is nothing like hearing an ambulance driver talk about putting in an airway and waking up in a hospital with blue hands over two flipping aleve to convince me to be real careful about what is safe for me.

My daughter got the flu last week. I took her to the doc, and while I was there I had her take a listen to my lungs as well. She told me to go to the ER immediately....she wanted to call a non-emergency ambulance for me, but I refused. I drove myself to the ER and found myself wearing a mask, getting x-rayed, blood drawn, and then I was in a nice little negative air-pressure quarantine room getting IV steriods and antibiotics while I took an hour long breathing treatment followed by 3 hours of oxygen.
This flu is nothing to screw around with if your lungs are in any way compromised, as mine are with my COPD.
I have another appt tomorrow with my doc...I'm not getting much better here. We'll see what he says

I will be getting a flu shot as well and have made inquiries about getting the swine flu shot. Given that I work in two jobs that afford me a great deal of exposure to the general public, better safe than sorry is my watchphrase. Especially since one of those jobs, the one with the cemetery, will in all likelihood expose me to people who have just been in a hospital setting.
I've had several flu shots over the years and have never had any problems other than a little sore spot on my arm for the remainder of the day.

Nope I always get the flu shots too .........never a problem you should never get one if you the slightest bit of being ill and ........swine flu is most likely targeted for those under 25.....and I know I am not even close to that age

Gosh! This reminds me.... I am suppose to go get mine Thursday morning!
But I am only going to get the regular flu shot. I absolutely won't be a guinea pig for a new vaccine. I won't be taking the h1n1 shot. But I pray hard I don't get it either.

line up ..,,,and do what the authority figure tells you to do!
believe everything you are told,,the government only looks out for your best interest,,there are no side effects,,all politicians are honest decent men and women who are above corruption and all other petty human vices and are only concerned with doing good things and never expect anything in return.
the moon is made of green cheese and santa is a fat man who lives in the north pole and deliver toys,,made by happy, happy, dwarves,to all the wonderful children of the world using a magic sleigh driven by 12 magic reindeer.
the flu shot is completely safe and you should line up now and get your shot before your neighbor gets one first and hence is having a better life than you...
line up,,,conform,,don't ask questions, believe what you are told..
oh ya,, p.s. i will not be getting a flu shot unless i actually have the flu,,,just like i don't take aspirin till i actually have a headache,,but you do what you gotta do
