I got alot acomplished today. Granted,,,, about 1/3 of the goal for the today,,, and less than 1% of the total work load,,, but a damn site more than zero. Much like the Nobel committee,,, I'm going to reward myself for effort and intentions,,, something greater than zero.
For all my MD friends,,, and less than friends,,, suffering from the blue/blog/fog depression,,,,
just pick a small spot,,, set a goal,,, turn on some music,,, turn off the rest of the world,,, and put a nice shot glass up as a reward,,,,
you don't have to do it all,,,, just do it some.
Much like sex,,, it's great to do it,,, but it's fan-freaking-tastic,,, just after you finish the job at hand... and you can gaze at your handywork.
And also like sex,,, I find the phrase "YES YOU CAN",,, to be empowering and intoxicating.
