Once you've hit rock-bottom, there's only one way to go. Unless, that is, you kick the bucket. But since I'm alive and kickin', I'm climbing back out this ditch. (More of a pit, but hey. Semantics) So like George Jefferson, I'm movin' on UP!
After the 'extreme decluttering; of last year- when I got evicted- I'm so light and free, I'm putting most of what I've got online for sale. Few clothes, hardly a bric-a-brac, mainly just a laptop and phone, plus the car, which I'm keeping as an investment. (Hey, if the Scrappage Scheme continues much longer, even my old banger will up in value. Happy days!) What's more, back at uni now (online) and starting a business- God willing, this month. Recession? What recession?
In the end, I realised that since life will happen anyway, it's up to me how I deal with the sitcho. Moan a lot, or laugh in the face of danger. A former business colleague wondered if I'd ever amount to anything, with all the calamities that seem to befall and beset me. I say, what CAN'T I do? 'Laters' lol
