I saw, and, unfortunately heard, a couple arguing at the store the other day. It was pretty sad. She was crying, and he was being a caveman. He never hit her, or even threatened to hit her, but he might as well have. He was not much of a man that day. I wanted to tell him too. But I thought he might hit me. As long as he wasn't going to hit her, I chose to sort of stand guard. I didn't look the other way, but I didn't try to interfere either.

I felt really sorry for her. I wanted to hold her...which probably would have really pissed him off.... Even if it was her fault, which I have no idea if it was or not. No woman deserves degrading treatment. Hell...no one does.

I wonder if he knows what it is like to be alone for years.....if he keeps that behavior up, he might just find out.

I have been thinking about women ever since that little incident. I have learned a lot, being alone.

It seems I am getting older….…maturing. I am finding the opposite sex even more of a mystery than ever and I've reached the age where competence is actually a turn-on. You know who you are. Don't ya?

Something that has never changed and won't, no matter how old mature I get....If you are ever in doubt as to whether to kiss a pretty girl, always give her the benefit of the doubt. I mean really, what have ya got to loose? Besides yer gonads I mean.

I sometimes wonder what a girl is thinking when I see an unusual hairstyle. Some of them take a minute to process, if you know what I mean. I heard somewhere purple will be a good color for hair when brunette is a good color for flowers.

But I do think a hairstyle can tell you something about a woman. Sometimes you can easily see that there has been no effort made at all, and it shows in other places as well.

Sometimes there has been a lot of effort that ends up looking like there was no effort. That can be very cool. Or not...

And sometimes, it just doesn’t matter… ..But there is more than that…..Hair style can be the sure clue as to whether or not a woman really knows herself. I could take this thought a little further, but would immediately get in over my head. I do think that the average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think.

Which I just proved, in so many ways.

I have learned that there is something important about the fact that women worry about the things that men forget while men seem to worry about the things women remember. Bill Shakespeare said it good when he said that women speak two languages - one of which is verbal. I still don’t know what the other one is, but if I find out, I will let all you guys know.

Speaking of speaking languages….have ya ever noticed that when a man talks dirty to a woman, it's sexual harassment…but when a woman talks dirty to a man, it's $3.95 a minute?

I’ve had to stop chasing girls….found out it could be dangerous….something I never thought about, but now that I do think about it….….I found out that generally speaking, a man chases a woman until she catches him. That is more dangerous than I first thought.


I do believe in love. I think it happens all the time. But it takes effort. Work.
It is not all easy….there is a serious side to making something together…I like that word. I guess I don’t know too much about it, but I like the way that word looks…and sounds….

Together……yeah…a good word.

Women…..made from a man’s funny bone. I read that in a big book with lots of thin skimpy pages once. I guess man was first, and then He made a girl. Suppose that’s because ya need to make a rough draft, before you make perfection.
