I really don't have the time for this these days since school is on in our house and I'm the primary instructor but here goes...

I don't open MD these days except to answer email. For a month all I have gotten is spam. Not one single note from a person interested in an honest conversation.

Maybe I should seek on my own and send some notes but who would answer?

Hmm, what am I saying? Only that this service does not seem to be worth the effort. Glad I didn't pay money for it.

	On this I agree with dizzy. And while I am perfectly fine with this site being for singles & friends, personally, I don't seek out friendships with married men. While I don't have a problem at all with married people on the site, most of them are people I've known since they were single....and again, I'm not gonna beat down any doors to make friends with a married man. Personally, I was the wife to a married man who used the net to make friends before....and honestly, it didn't work out very well.

	I agree with the ladies dharmaseeker. When I log onto a singles site I anticipate that most people will be 'seeking" the same as me. Being honest with yourself is sometimes the best place to start. If you are looking for thought provoking converstations why don't you join a site that does not cater to singles seeking singles? And, to be a paying member? Hmmmm....me thinks there is an underlying motivation my dear Watson!

	Well, at least I got mail that wasn't junk. thanks for the comments. I didn't actually PAY for this thing, it was a free offer. I wouldn't pay. The only reason I am here is because it IS the only place I've found on the internet where one can communicate without paying. The big "friends only" sites like Friendfinder are costly. I wish there were just friends sites. There used to be but not any more. I guess all anyone wants these days is sex. Very sad. ...and please don't go tossing a bunch of comments about sex here. It's not the subject. ...thank you.

	wow... not sure exactly what you expected to find here on MD.... but I found many good friends...which is exactly what I was hoping for. However, my life (my real life) does not revolve around MD. My husband comes first. That includes good conversation , good times, bad times and all the stuff in between... that is my priority I love MD... they have allowed me the opportunity meet some wonderful people, blog about things that I find difficult to verbalize...get past some issues that I have dwelled on for years I have found support here And while I don't agree on all issues with some folks on here.. I am open minded enough hopefully to learn from those I do disagree with, ignore those that I know are only here to push buttons ( but still learn from their actions/personalities/ issues) Seems to me that if the only time you log on is to check your mail and see if anyone wants to "chat" then your're bound to be disappointed... Just my opinion... Oh and as far as the heading of your blog " What are you looking for?".... I found it here

	The gang at MD is pretty good.... I get some nice emails each day.... and I have participated very little.. I think a person has to participate a little and then some messages start to flow... I get the spam stuff also..... the good messages are worth putting up with the spam
