Many people will bash Rush and call him a racist, yet can not quote any actual racial remarks he said. Every daily program Rush does is recorded word for word and archived. Many take his words out of context, to fit their agenda. If in fact he was Racist and clearly made racial comments disparaging blacks, do you really think he would still be on the air? ACLU Jackson and Sharpton would have protested by now.(just as it was done to IMUS) Rush whether you like him or not stands for conservative values, and yes it can be controversial, but racist? No! Before responding if you choose to, know this If it's hateful without merit, it will be deleted. Anyone who claims he's racist should back it up with actual dates and quotes, so others may view it in Rush's actual archives, not what someone thinks they thought he said, but his own words. That's only fair, since every word he speaks is recorded and available for all to read. Please note..any link can say anything So I have no interest in chasing hate links, they will be deleted, Since his daily show can be viewed word for word, not someone's opinion.

[quote] The Hutch Calls the Program
October 15, 2009
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: We have the Hutch on the phone from Seattle. Ken Hutcherson, former linebacker, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks. Hutch, welcome to the program.

THE HUTCH: Hey, my man. I am so mad, I am doing back flips up here in Seattle. What in the world is going on in the United States? I mean, the whole issue, Rush -- whether you like it or not -- is they have done you wrong. And this is intolerance, it's prejudice, and if America don't wake up, it is going to happen to them. I am so mad, man, I cannot even -- and I'm a man of the cloth, Rush! I'm not supposed to get this upset. It is time for all of us... You know, why don't they talk to some African-Americans that know you?

RUSH: Oh, that would destroy the narrative. That would destroy the template.

THE HUTCH: Oh, forget that. You know, and talk to some African-Americans know that the poverty pimps, Sharpton and Jackson, they're nothing but slave sliders and pushers to get their way. And you're going to let them have a voice on all the stuff that they've done? Jesse Jackson was telling Bush to, "Stay out of the bushes." He was the one in the bushes having illegitimate kids! How in the world can the NFL -- and I'm going to tell you something else, brother, straight from me, who played football. Those African-American brothers who talk about they wouldn't play? That is the biggest lie on this side of the universe. Not only would their wives get on them and make 'em go -- and their girlfriends, and their moms; they would beat 'em all the way to the 50 yard line and tell them, "You better get out there and get that game check." And why don't they talk to the hundreds of African-American players that would be excited about you owning a team?

RUSH: Well, they want to present the idea that there are none, and that's what they've done. Hutch, hang on. I gotta take a little break here. Well, I'll need to tell you what the Hutch is to this program if you're new and I'll do that when we come back.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Hey, Hutch. I've got 15 seconds here before I have to do the top of the hour break. Can you hang on through the break? I'll get right back to you at the top of the next hour?

THE HUTCH: I have to go ahead and do a commercial, Rush. I will call in later on in the week or so.

RUSH: All right. Thanks much. In the meantime, thank you very much. I know you're busy.

THE HUTCH: We can't take this land down, bro. You shouldn't take it.

RUSH: We don't intend to. I'll tell everybody who he is when we get back.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I hope you heard the last call we had in the previous hour from Ken Hutcherson. He's a dear friend of mine. He's a former player in the National Football League, played back in the Too Tall Jones, Harvey "Too Mean" Martin era with the Cowboys and finished his career in Seattle with the Seahawks, which is where he lives now. He has been a pastor at the Antioch Bible Church for 25 years. I met Ken Hutcherson on a fishing trip, of all places. Howard Slusher, who worked for Nike at the time and had been a sports agent and Paul Westphal, former NBA player and coach, and Hutcherson were going to go up there to Vancouver Island and fish for salmon.

Slusher had won this at some charity event rally or auction. So he called me and asked if I wanted to go. I literally have no interest in fishing, but I decided to go to see what it was like and we had a great time and the Hutch was my roommate. We had a two bedroom cabin at this place. We were there three or four days and the last day we played golf and I really, really got to know him well and I didn't catch any fish but I caught the Hutch as a friend.

As much as I don't like the way this came down, I have to support the NFL's rights to control who is an owner,,, for any stupid reson. They are not a government organization, they are a private entity. To oppose the NFL in this, is the same as bashing the Boy Scouts for controlling their leaders and particpants.

As far as the racism industry's remarks, all you have to remember is that Rush spends time on show bashing (right or wrong), Jackson and Sharpton. He has repeatedly pointed out thier illogical stances on various claims of racism. And if you do listen to Rush, would you expect the reaction of the racism industry to be any different than what we have seen. Do you expect to see the reaction of liberals and main stream press to be any different than what we have seen?

After all,,, Rush is now lumped into the same catagory as Joe Wilson,,, and anyone who has attended a town hall meeting with an obvious conservative mindset.

At some point, the minorities of the country are going to look at Jackson and Sharpton and ask the question,,, "What have you done for me lately?" When the only answers they get are,,, we road on a bus to protest some black kids beating up another black kid,,, we called Joe Wilson a racist,,,, we blocked Rush from owning the Rams,,,,,,,,,, the minorites are going to ask them the same question that they asked Obama in New Orleans. "Why can't you just write us a check?",,, or the question they should have asked Obama in New Orleans,,,"Where the hell are the jobs and oppertunities you promised?"

I hate rush, he's just a fire starter, nothing more.

However, I don't believe he's a racist and it was wrong for jesse jackson,al sharpton to stop him for owning a team.

Actually, what he said about the Eagles quarterback was a true statement.

I understand your point, and my question is, NFL team owners are suppose to vote on who can become an owner, the NFL can weigh in with their thoughts and may even over ride the decision, but it's my understanding, the owners vote first collectively on this? what do you know about this?

To answer your question...No! However Sharpton and Jackson have made countless racial remarks and have attacked whites without proof and never apologixed even when proven wrong. case in point "LaCross Team" It amazes me how Whites are the only one's painted as racist, and all others are given a free pass. I know allot of blacks and latino's who can't stand whites, because their white. It seems to me that politics is motivating this mess under the guise of Racism.

After all,,, Rush is now lumped into the same catagory as Joe Wilson,,, and anyone who has attended a town hall meeting with an obvious conservative mindset.

I agree it seems if you disagree with Obama, your deemed Racist, when it's his policies that are scaring people.

At some point, the minorities of the country are going to look at Jackson and Sharpton and ask the question,,, "What have you done for me lately?" I can only hope that one day people will dismiss color and purely look at someone as what they are, not what color they are. It seems the left keeps bringing up race as a reason, when in fact it's the direction and policy that many are oppose to. I haven't heard any Republican in office make racial remarks, yet every disagreement they have is considered and portrayed as racist..

However, I don't believe he's a racist and it was wrong for jesse jackson,al sharpton to stop him for owning a team.

Actually, what he said about the Eagles quarterback was a true statement.

We agree.... not totally... Rush is the polar opposite of the P.C crowd, he is conservative and make's no apology for that belief system, no more then the left apologizes for their belief system. I've listen to him for many many years and have looked for Racism and Lies. Is he controversial? absolutely! Do I agree with everything he say's ? No! but I do agree he has an equal right to defend with passion, what he disagree's with, the same as they have the right to say or defend their point of view. Several news sources and talk shows bash Rush all the time, as they feel it's popular, he has been demonized by the left media as a racist. Yet he bashed Bush many times on the policies he didn't agree with, the left has yet to go after anyone. They only attack the right, the left has yet to vet anyone selected by Obama, no matter how controversial their past is.Yet this same media attacked Palin with a vengence.

Jackson said " I wish someone would cut that nigger's ball's off" talking to Colin Powell right before the election, caught on camera just a bit of a double standard, when Jesse was apart of the burial of the word nigger. And has told the world how offensive this word is. The double standard has many scratching their heads. I'm part Mexican when someone called me a beaner, taco bender or wet back it was considered racist unless it was a fellow Latino making the joke or comment Growing up in Compton California and North Long beach area, I was called called nigga allot by the brotha's in the hood, but it was out of friendship, "meaning what's my nigga" that meant we were cool.

It just seems to me, that Whites are unfairly labeled as being racist, no question some are, but the majority seem to be just fine with all colors. If a white kid is beat up by blacks, Jesse and Sharpton say nothing, they only come out if they think they can make it about white hating blacks.

Oh we agree the Mc Nabb statement was true and made into something it wasn't. Sometimes the Real Truth, is hard for people to swallow. Rush doesn't sugar coat it, and that makes him controversial.

The Search for the Wikipedia Libelist (important update)
Ralh Alter

Thanks to an intrepid blogger with the tag Trapdoc posting a letter to Mark Steyn, the search for the Wikipedia Libelist responsible for damaging posts to the Rush Limbaugh account has been narrowed to the IP address of a New York City law firm:

"The quotes were added by a user with the IP address of 69.64.213.146. This address has been used mostly to make changes to the article about Rush, but also Karl Rove, Sean Hannity,.. James Dobson and Sara Palin from 2005 until earlier this year.

"While others have noted this in various forums, no one seems to have made the connection that this IP address is used as a gateway by the law firm Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP (see here, for example) that all users from that IP address come from the pbwt.com domain.)"

The firm provides a wide array of legal services with a broad spectrum of politically correct causes served:

"It is one of the first major firms in New York City to elect a woman as managing partner. In addition to its Diversity Committee, a group of Patterson Belknap attorneys formed PAC -- Patterson Attorneys of Color -- to assist with the enhancement of workplace diversity and the recruitment, retention and promotion of attorneys of color. Another group, Out at Patterson, focuses on issues relevant to the firm's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals, and Women Lawyers at Patterson (WLAP) focuses on women's issues."

Considering Rush's militant political incorrectness, there may be a large number of potentially culpable attorneys and/or staffers to choose from. However, a forensic data retrieval technician should surely be able to narrow the focus and identify the likely poster. Perhaps Rush can enlist the aid of PBWT alumni, Rudy Giuliani, Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau or firm partner, Edward F. Cox, (son-in-law of former President, Richard M. Nixon) in his search for justice.

There is no question that Mr. Limbaugh has been damaged by the salacious quotes added to his Wikipedia profile and their dissemination in the PC-stream media. Hope this helps, Rush.

Foot note...if it's controversy the NFL is trying to avoid, we have
Michael Vick who murdered countless dogs and tortured them.
Warren Moon who beat on his wife
countless other NFL representives who have not just been controversial, but have committed crimes and still allowed to be apart of the NFL., if memory serves me correct, wasn't the original owner of the Rams guilty of racial slurs she made?

Frankly..Im tired of the racist crap hurled at me because Im white...Were responsible for everyone elses problems....I never enslaved anyone...I never invaded Mexico...I never took American land from Native Americans..and yet...Im responsible for all their problems...

There is racism from ALL nationalities...and races...and yet...the white man has shared America WITH EVERYONE..and still...no one is ever satisfied...

Perhaps...its the whinners that own the problem...

Just look at the recent hate crimes bill.....the way its worded..we are now the slaves to everyone else...they can lie about us..and put us in jail....they have more rights than us....

There is less repercussion if one attacks and murders or beats up a white man rather than a minority..

It think the white man had bettter wake up ...cause this is a bunch of crap...

So now..lets reverse this...if a white man commits a crime against a minority...or a gay...perhaps..we should just bury the body...because the laws are unfair when it comes to rights of the White people of America...

How in the hell did such a thing happen? Lethatgic lazy Americans...not paying attention....and activist criminals..using the system to gain control over America...political parties pitting one against the other....instilling hate and envy against the whites.....I think those are the people who should go to jail...causing a revolution in this once peaceful nation.....

TiTi....I wish for once you would say what's really on your mind....

We agree the path to fairness has been taken to far, any crime against any person should be treated equally if we are to be an equal society. If not it pits one against the other unfairly.I wonder if Obama would be able to buy a team since he has used racial remarks himself about his grandmother the cops who arrested the professor, or the white folks clinging to their religion guns and antipathy in Pa. Or the Rev Wright, what if Jesse or Sharpton could afford to? would they be allowed to buy a football team?

Racism will never die until people start leaving color out of it and address the problems for what they truly are. Using race to inflame in and of it's self is racist. Those who have been around a true racist....know it! not a media racist, but someone who is truly racist.

Hi Popo!

I see it like this..

When people or organisations come across the small people who disagree, they are treated like annoying flies, just waved away..

BUT

When they fear the influence of people like Rush, Glen Beck, and Sarah Palin.. they attack with everything they have,, even so far as to try to destroy them.

Glen Beck this week installed a telephone on his set, and the only person that knows the number is Anita Dunn who works in the Whitehouse, she is recently been given the task to 'monitor' Fox news as she said their reporting was full of inaccuracies.

She has been requested by Glen to call if she ever sees anything that is not correct so he can change it, so far the phone hasnt rung once.

While she attacks Fox news, (because they are a threat) She herself in a speech to a group of college students said..

Oh here.... listen for yourself.......

>>watch and listen<<

This is quite amazing!!!!!

SHE can work in the Whitehouse.. yet Rush cant own a NFL team??

Hola Charli......

You are absolutely correct.... I'm very glad you pointed that out, when someone is no threat to the liberal machine, no big deal, If someone comes with power and followers, they spend every day trying to destroy them. The administration and the media, cry racism, hater, nazi, anti American, and so on They never bring any proof nor will they debate them, they spin what they say and call it reporting. When Joe Wilson said "You Lie" to obama he was absolutely correct, may have been the wrong forum, but then again obama called the right liars minutes before Joe spoke out.Yet now he was labeled racist, and obama wasn't, when he was referring to the majority white senators.

People like Beck Rush and even Palin have spoken the truth popular or not, they get bashed for it, yet we have czars who are known criminals racist and haters of American. Who's going to be the new Chuch Czar Rev.Wright or Jesse? you know obama will appoint one to keep those religious wacko's clinging to their guns and religion under control.. and to make sure their singing gospel hyms praising obama like their trying to do in schools...

As always thanx for your thoughts Charli....

Bard.....wasn't the controversey with the Boy Scout leader over Homosexuality?
If mermory serves me correct the problem was Having Homosexual men in charge of young boys, and the fear of victims or pedifiles making their way into a group where children would be subject to private situations and camp outs with Homosexuals/possible Sexual offenders and kids. Boy Scout Leaders are volunteers not paid atheletes or where owner ship involves investment stocks. But then again were not comparing apples to apples here, one is over protecting children form preditors, while the other is purely making money. Over 70% of the NFL fan base is white, I believe they said about 16% of the fan base is black, yet over 70% of the players are black, that in and of it's self show a racial inbalance if were looking at economic fairness..

Since it was an investment group he was involved with in trying to buy the franchise, that may be the reason it was denied.. but with a name like Rush, I think his publicity just made the story... Hummmmm.....well as far as I know the group it's self is still in the bid, Rush was singled out and asked to withdrawl, keep in mind Rush was approached, he didn't ask to be in the group, nor was he pursuing the investment. The group of investers are still trying to buy the team. (as far as I know) It's still to early to tell all the why's? It's my understanding their maybe some lawsuits to follow, Rush did say one of his concerns before agreeing to sign up was because of who he was could be a factor? and was assured it wouldn't be. I started out in Via Carmelita's the projects off Long Beach blvd. in North Long Beach, went to Clara Barton elementary, it's been awhile since I was in da hood..lol allot of the peeps I knew from the projects went to Compton, When we moved, I was jumped in a Mexican gang called "Artesia Varrio" they have a web page I saw from google, My street name was El Popo they gave me, we use to get along with CV Tres Compton Varrio Tres, We moved to Chivas Varrio off Pioneer Blvd next to Norwalk Varrio, I went to Ghar high for a short time before getting expelled but I spent allot of time in Compton and knew several Crips, back then they were Compton Crips... Since you went to Compton High, you know the hood, and know of the Crips.

I was 17 when the court extrodited me to Arkansas where my family took off to in the middle of the night, over several shootings, drive bys on our house from a varrio in East LA, called the King Cobras this was back in the early 70's. Anyway good to hear from you and that you survived...lol

Rush has been on the radio since 1987 I believe, I know he has been on the air waves for approx.21-22 years, so he's always in the limelite and has 20 million listeners a week, More then any other radio or T.V show, he's the number one talk radio in America, so I doubt it was merely a publicity stunt, he already has plenty of that without this, also he didn't approach the investors of NFL he was approached. It is an important issue especially when it comes to corporate America, that is suppose to be invester friendly, non bias! If they will stop Rush who else will they say can or can not be involved? As far as it being hate radio, that would depend solely on your perspective, the same could be said of all media

Some may not care about this, as well as others do, those who could careless, usually pay no attention to this or other issues that involve politics. Many people do care about politics and listen closely to both sides and form their own opinion. The same as what some feel are priorities, others could careless about, like the Global Warming non-sense, many feel very passionate about football, I'm one of those people, been a fan my whole life and don't want to see politics play a role in the game. many of us escape that aspect through football, It should be a sport that anyone can play own or buy a ticket too. So yes it does matter to some of us what's happening with the NFL.. It's allot more then a sound bite, it's about equality and fairness, were suppose to be a nation that doesn't judge by the color of our skin, religion, sex or political affiliations NFL is now a world wide broadcast and is the highest rated show on T.V when the games are on, superbowl is watched all over the world by millions and millions of people.

They say the '80's were bad because of the drug wars, but I always felt the '70's were the bad years for that area - I'm glad that YOU survived! (and you were from the era when the gang fights were REAL fights - not just a drive-by!)

I remember seeing the CV-3 grafitti all over the place when I was a kid, too.

My dad worked as a probation officer at Camp Kilpatrick: the very same camp in the film "Gridiron Gang" - and he most likely worked with the guy that is portrayed in it, Though sadly, my dad passed away just a mere month before it was released, so he never saw it.

I think it's a bunch of B.S. that Rush was removed: he's got the money, isn't afraid to use it, and it's something that he's always wanted to do once he "made it big"

I think they're afraid because of that fact: I can see him buying a team & signing up all the best players - money not an object...can you say "Super Bowl" several years in a row???

Any player would have to be a complete idiot to NOT want to play for him!

I should remember that's the shirt I was wearing when they put me on the flight to Arkansas...lol and then OBRC, hey your Dad could have been one of my P.O's lol... I've been stabbed shot and cut with a knife, so yeah it got pretty crazy back then.. CV3 was kickin back in the day, man I could tell some stories about those days....lol I haven't seen Gridiron Gang, but Colors if you've seen it was about the hood Compton, I'm sure it brought back memories to you, it did me.. The gang in the movie (the Mexican) White Fence, I knew some of those Vatos and partyed under that bridge in the movie...lol Sorry to hear about your dad.. Hey I met a girl on a Latin site ( a latina) who grew up in the projects she was my neighbor back then, small world huh? she also went to Clara Barton.

Man were way off topic...lol

I think it's a bunch of B.S. that Rush was removed: he's got the money, isn't afraid to use it, and it's something that he's always wanted to do once he "made it big"

I think they're afraid because of that fact: I can see him buying a team & signing up all the best players - money not an object...can you say "Super Bowl" several years in a row???

Any player would have to be a complete idiot to NOT want to play for him!

We agree, he's from that area and lived about 100 miles south of St.Loius, from what I can tell it was over race and politics. Congress was even talking about on the floor of the senate, about stopping him. It would have been great to see him as a part team owner, your right he loves the game. it will be interesting to see what comes of it.
