Friends

The air is crisp....my fireplace is crackling from the timber cut into pieces by these two hands ...children's laughter can be heard all around whether it is in the many apple orchards here in Michigan or the pumpkin patches also through out the state.

Some I even hear of them planning with their friends like I did of staying in a Pumpkin patch and waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear....I still love that episode of "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" to this day..

The stories from the deer hunters who are out in full force right now with their bows telling each other how the "BIG" one got away etc etc...and getting their balls busted for either being told they were asleep as the real reason.

The many changes of the colors of leaves you get to see...red, yellow then eventually dead brown...

Me looking out my window as the wind blows said leaves from my trees into my neighbors yards...meaning less raking for me.

High school football....days gone by when I look at the playing field of the game that is going...still hearing through the speakers..."tackle made by Legacy #68"

I guess as I get older I am begining to like fall and all that it has to offer.

But I will still say this....WINTER STILL SUCKS!!!
