OH,, and don't forget their healthcare, and other benefits packages.
BIGBOY,,, you need to suck it up,,, it's your duty to take out a second mortgage so you can put a down payment on a car that you can't afford. At least,,, that's the message I'm getting from Congress.
It's amazing,,, that the common sense portrayed by you,,, does not seem to be shared by those who claim to be so much smarter than us,,, and are working in our best interest.

I don't get it either. I work @ a dealership, & on occasion have to check in new vehicles once they arrive on the transport. 2009 model GMC Yukon Denail XL was $58,800.... the 2010 model??..... $61,170 !!!  Makes no sense @ all.

You can thank the auto workers union for the outrageous price of cars. The auto manufactures are forced to pay people with little or no education $70,000 a year to mop the break room and stand on an automated assembly line!

Why high price when the when there are low paing jobs out here and the unemployment High. and everyone helped them out. Maybe to encourage people to use public transportation, use bicycles, or even walk??
Gas is high, groceries are high, even clothing (unless you shop thrift stores) is high. And everyone needs to eat; not everyone needs a car. Time to cut out the frivolous & get only the necessary.
