Usual routine this morning, woke and got up far too early, let the boys out, who immediately wanted the whole road to know that they were up and about and so should everyone else!
We’ve never had the neighbours complain, I think either they don’t care or they too are up and about at that time so it doesn’t bother them, either way, they’ve not said anything up until now.. now I’ve tempted fate that is..
Made some tea, watched 3 fire trucks with sirens blaring and lights flashing whiz past and head over the hill.
Then with tea in hand, I settled down on to the comp.
What better way to get the adrenalin going than to write a blog I thought, as I pulled up Microsoft word, I like to write it on word, (best for spelling and grammar mistakes ya know, don’t want the spelling police on my back!)
Hmm now what to write about I wondered, maybe my trip to the UK as I glanced at the printed e ticket from British airways.
I could talk about how Im going to meet a certain Welsh lady whose name escapes me at the moment, she always reminds me of ‘Finish’ the dish washing tablets… you know…. That advertisement on T.V and the British lady’s voice says.. “Finish… the Diamond standard.”
We chatted yesterday about how we may not even get on when we meet, I don’t think that’s likely tho, whats not to like about miss Diamond standard, and hey I’m very easy going, I’m sure we will be popping corks and putting men and the world to rights in no time! 
Then I thought, no, no-one would be interested in hearing about that.
Rome comes in, nudges my arm in a hint for his breakfast, a chance to think of something else to write about.
And as Iams biscuits filled the bowls with waiting drooling dogs, I thought how it isn’t that easy to think of something interesting every day, something that would capture readers’ imagination.
I really don’t know how these daily bloggers think of things, you know, the ones that get paid for it in magazines and online blogs.
But then, they get paid for their opinions, what they think matters to the ones who subscribe, but me… I’m just a Britt living in Texas, an ordinary woman learning how to say Ya’all without a British twang… not easy I can tell you!
Then I thought how I could write about Gregg and how he managed to break his ride on lawn mower yesterday.
Our neighbours grass had become very tall lately, we were wondering if he was OK, because he usually took a pride in his yard.
Gregg went over to check on him, the old man was fine but the belt had broken on his lawn mower so Gregg offered to mow his grass for him.
Well I guess the grass was too high and it bent the blades.
“A good deed never goes unpunished.” As the saying goes.
As I sat back down to the comp to finally decide what to write, I eventually came to the conclusion that I don’t really have much to say today… so I think I’ll write a blog about nothing.
A nothing blog, that’s it, a blog about nothing in particular…
And now its time for another cup of tea…

I had a great time when Bob came to Wales, it must be two years ago now at least? I think I told you he'd run off to marry a Filipino lady or something, so we'll have to think of something to wind him up while you're here. 
Just don't forget the Black Box, K?

Wow! Your mornings sound like mine.  I start to move, and I've got 5 dogs who just know I'm waking up, and they are ready to go out! I've been in my house for 5 years, and didn't have any complaints until a month ago when I got new neighbor across the street. They told the police that my dogs are out all hours of the night barking. Yeah, right. They are indoor dogs, and I have a fenced yard for them. Also, when they are outside, they are let back in after the first bark. Being in the city, I let them in as soon as I hear the first bark. And, as to them being out all hours of the night...I'm in bed sleeping by 11:30pm...and unless they know how to unlock a door, let themselves out and then back in, it's not my dogs doing the barking. Anyway, turns out they are chronic complainers, neighbor next door to them was talking to me about how they called the cops on her for having her stereo too loud. wtf??? I've never heard anyone's stereo.
Oh yeah, I like my coffee in the morning.

Just finishing up the last of my coffee......been up since 5am.....fed the cats......watched a few things on the biography channel.....now...im about to meet my daughter inbetween classes for lunch......some do more before noon...than most do all day....... ...heard that somewhere before......thought id steal it........  ....cookie

Charligurl, I have never read anything of yours that ever sounded like a nothing blog. You have a knack and gift for writing, so don't call your blogs nothing anymore. OK?
