Take time to tell your loved ones
That you love them so
For you never know just when
You'll have to let them go


Take time to tell your friends
How enriched they've made your life
Perhaps it will encourage them
To make it through their strife.


Take time to stop and smell
Each rose along the way
Store them in your memory bank
For that cold and cloudy day


Take time to enjoy this life
Don't work and not play
For life is but a vapor
And then it's gone away


I'll stop and smell the roses
Take the time to love and rest
So that when I leave this world
I'll know that I've been blessed.
