The Journey's Not So Long

The journey's not so long
When friends are by your side
To love and uphold you
Away from dangers tide

The journey's not so long
If your eyes you open wide
To see the love and joy
That abounds on every side

The journey's not so long
When others I put first
For I know that it is possible
Things could be worse

The journey's not so long
When I don't dwell on "me"
For when I think of others
My troubles I don't see
