. Where will you be in 5 years, or ten? Or 25?
I just wondered not where, but WHAT Matchdoctor may be in 5, 10, or 25 years. Did you ever wonder?
For some people, the question about themselves may seem idiotic and the answer evident. For others, finding the beginning of an answer may be a great mystery.
The question about Matchdoctor is not as weird as it seems. Technology and trends keep sprouting new “social media” all the time. Before we had the internet, we used to actually write letters by hand and send them by snail mail. As the next step up, we used type writers. Now computers made these obsolete.
Therefore, who is to tell if internet “dating” will become obsolete, too, and if internet dating sites will disappear soon?
And if they don't, did you ever wonder about the evolution of Matchdoctor? Now, it seems to be a meeting place for middle aged divorced and disgruntled people, avidly trying to give the impression of dating, when actually often pursuing other objectives.
Will the same protagonists sit at their computer, trying to give the same impressions while typing with arthritis-bend fingers? Will we, then, joke about the blue-haired ones rather than the blondes? Will we post photos of our baby years, or of our deceased pets? All being better than 70 year old floppy bodies spread over the pixels. Will we still try to better the world and our government? Will we forget who we really are and flirt like when we were young? (Or pretend to flirt... ) Will we still think we're invincible in blogland? How will we deal with Azhmer (Alzhr? Aheimer? Arrrr...!!!) and Pppppparkinnnnnson? Will Matchdoctor add forum threats for the 65 and up?
