I drove to work today, the boss called me into her office, she said she was letting me go. I actually fully expected it because it was the type of job where they really should have hired someone who knew about guns, who shot guns for sport. I did mention that to her and she said "I agree with you". I also told her not to worry about me since I have a possible client for my cleaning business, just so she wouldn't feel too bad about having to let me go. I also agreed with her that it was just a wrong fit for me the job. She wished me well, said I would do very well in my business, the ladies I worked with also told me that before I left. So....I didn't leave with harsh feelings and I still do like my ex boss, she is a very nice person. I phoned her when I got home and asked her if she would be a job reference for me and she said she would.  If I do decide to get another job, it would be just part time days, but....if we can get a couple of clients for our business, then I won't have to concern myself about that. I feel as 'though a weight has been lifted, it was that stressful. I just hope that the next person they hire is a shooter because it is highly technical and without knowledge of guns, it's a tough job to do.
So....I packed up all my belongings and went home, all except one brand new scotch tape holder I had bought myself for the job, which....I inadvertently left behind, not intentionally of course. But....I'm not going back there just to get that.
So.....I hope everyone had a good day, that things are going well for you.  I'm doing very well despite the turn of events, I actually feel peace on the inside which I wasn't feeling for the past 5 weeks at work. Things happen for a reason. I know there is something better out there for me.

This just might be a great opportunity. I have a feeling that there is good things about to appear.
This type of thing is not always a random event...... you may well be on your way to something you have been dreaming about for your future...
