" The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."
America, we're very near to socialism and farther away from capitalism and meritocracy.

I love Maggie Thatcher. She and Ronald Reagan were some of the greatest and most important leaders of the free world in the last 100 years. They made an unbeatable team that showed the world the way to prosperity and liberty: a message that has been slowly eroded since they left thir leadership positions to leave both countries in the sorry state they are in today.
I'm so saddened by Maggie's condition today. I hope God blesses her and her family. She is truly a giant in the quest for freedom.
As to our current government. I think socialism is too mild. Obama has surrounded himself with COMMUNISTS, putting them in crucial roles in his administration. Some are self avowed and unabashedly admitted Communists and others have revealed their communist leanings through their writings and speeches.
This is no coincidence. Throughout his campaign, there were clear signs of Obama's Communist sympathies in his associations, but they were poo pooed by his supporters as a figment of racist imagination.
Obama tried to portray himself as a moderate during his campaign. That ended the day he took office. He has hoisted his flag, and it is pure red.
Socialism is bad enough. But Obama and his leftist henchmen in Congress are trying to take us well beyond that.

I lived in the UK during 'Maggie's years,
She took over government when the streets were full of rubbish and rats, because the rubbish disposal people were continually on strike. The firemen were also on strike so the army were having to try to put out fires.. some people even died. The economy was so bad, the socialist government had bled the country dry.
Maggie took over and dragged the UK back up on to its feet.
DR is right, she was the best thing that happened to the UK.
A recent government official in an interview told Fox news that the elections are coming back soon in the UK, and the people will be voting the conservatives back in after a few years of socialist hell.

Obama embraces Communist and dictatorial mass murdering thugs like Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Iran's Ahmanijad and Daniel Ortega.
On every continent, at every opportunity, he kowtows to communist dictators without a second thought. There is apparently no end to the number of his hand picked staff that are either admitted communists, or obviously trying to cover up the fact that they are communists.
Where does he find these people? I have never even known anyone who sympathized with communism in my entire life (...except one or two professors I had in political science classes. But that was on a college campus, what do you expect?). Yet Obama seems to have found so many of them that they are bursting out of his administration by the seams. He must have gone awfully far out of his way to find all of these people.
Meanwhile Obama shuns the leadership of the democratic free world, and viciously goes after, not the evil dictators of the communist world, but fellow citizens in his own country that disagree. Not since Richard Nixon have we seen such a vindictive "enemies list" kept by a president.
To Obama, anyone in our own country with a different point of view is more of a threat than an evil foreign mass murdering dictator who seeks to wreak death, havoc and destruction throughout the world.
Obama's strategy seems not only to be to capitulate with our enemies so that maybe they will like us better, but at the same time he seeks to publicly humiliate and alienate our best allies to show how open minded he is.
From his obnoxiously insulting gifts to UK's Prime Minister shortly after he took office, to his throwing Poland, Ukraine and Eastern Europe to the wolves by abandoning our Eastern European missile defense plans while getting ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from his communist buddies in Russia in return, to shamelessly abandoning Israel to make them have to deal with the Iranian threat -- which threatens the entire free world -- all by themselves, Obama has systematically shown that he is a supporter evil dictators at the expense of our closest Democratic allies at every turn.
Obama is not a socialist. He is a communist. I'll repeat this again. When it comes to Obama, judge everything by his ACTIONS, not by his WORDS. There is always a big difference with this man.
And I'll say this again too.
We need to send a message to the Democrats. A STRONG message.
WE DON'T WANT YOUR SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST CRAP.
Republicans have a lot of problems right now. But communism isn't one of them.
VOTE REPUBLICAN ACROSS THE BOARD AT EVERY LEVEL. VOTE DEMOCRATS OUT AT EVERY ELECTION.

PS: DO NOT vote for "third party" candidates.
Voting for third party candidates is the best way to split the anti-Democrat vote and guarantee that a Democrat will win.
As a matter of fact, many times third party candidates are actually working for the Democrats just to draw away votes of unsuspecting voters exactly for that purpose.
Don't be fooled!
If you want to send the message that you are fed up with Obama and the Democrats who have been in control of Congress for the last few years, VOTE REPUBLICAN.
Yes, I know it isn't a perfect solution, but nothing in politics is perfect. It isn't a perfect solution just yet, but it is the BEST solution available now.
