Say, did you know that I cried for days
that turned into months of painful ways?
Say, did you ever ask how I have been
the should have words that might have been?
Say, did you know that I am well?
Did you even know now where I dwell?
Say, did you know the man I met
he loves me so and so I forget
The lies you told me again and again
and the pain you caused my family and friends
Say do you seek the laughs we share?
and the looks we gaze, the way we care?
Say, do you say the life you chose
is seemingly so because of truths untold?
