This is factual......
The average entry age of a child prostitute in Phoenix is 13 years old. Every day hundreds of children wake up in an enslaving nightmare. And every day they know they will have to complete the most dehumanizing of tasks before they will be allowed to sleep again. Angie* is one of these children.
Angie's livelihood, her trade, her survival, her existence is prostitution. Hers is a life lived in slavery. Angie's shackles are brandings made from crude scalding irons and tattoos that claim her as property of her pimp. Her workload is an 8-12 hour day consisting of one contractual rape after another. She is reduced to a product, forced to offer herself to countless strangers. Angie's masters are the men who coerce and manipulate her into this hell.
UNICEF estimates that a million new minors each year are coerced or forced into sex slavery such as Angie's. Between 100,000 and 300,000 children in America are at risk for sex trafficking each year. As many as 2.8 million children live on the streets, a third of whom are lured into prostitution within 48 hours of leaving home. The FBI estimates that well over 100,000 children and young women are trafficked in America today. They range in age from 9 to 19.
While there are millions of children as Angie victimized everyday, let us not forget the one. The one girl deceived, the one woman afflicted with AIDS, the one child needing a rescuer. To succumb to the enormity of the problem is to fail the one.

Sex slavery has to be one of the worst thing mankind has every done to kids, the only thing worst in my mind is when they kill and torture the child afterward.
This act does call for capital punishment without any doubt!

There is a thread on this topic in P&C. Anyway, child sex trafficking is a part of the equation. This is organized crime at its worst.

I concur, it's a horrible way for these children to live. There is also the fact that these pimps wouldn't be in business if it weren't for the sickos out there that are looking to have sex with children.

While we write, in major cities, pimps are sitting in the bus stations, waiting for the pretty runaways. They offer friendship and a place to stay, but give slavery addiction, and misery.
Everybody knows this routine, cops, clergymen, parents.
There is a kid on an inbound bus to LA , due in five minutes from now. Who can make the story run differently?

This is horror at its best...children, confused, hurt, feeling they are all alone, as children do at times...thinking there is excitement away from home in the big city...so they take off...unmindful of what waits for them at the end of the bus trip.
They arrive...and ...now what...
A young person like themselves, sits and strikes up a convo...they too, left home at some point, and have found a wonderful place to live...other kids like themselves there..food...a bed...nice people to take care of them...
*C'mon...let me take you there...eat, and get some sleep..and tomorrow you can decide what you want to do*.....
And the nightmare begins....because this helpful child is a product of his/her pimp...and is required to bring home *fresh meat*....
This happens every day, every hour all across the country...AND the world...
